Faith's POV

"Tick tock. I should hear chanting by now" Klaus says as we enter another room of the mansion. I think he's talking to me until I see Bonnie sitting on one of the couches in the middle of the room.

"I'm still studying the unlinking spell. It's not that easy, especially under duress." My eyes follow her gaze and it's focused on an open grimoire on the table in front of her. Which I can only assume is opened on Esther's unlinking spell.

Klaus steps closer, leaning his hands on the arms of her chair, getting close to her ear. "You've been warned. If you're looking for a way to send for help, I will kill anyone who comes to your rescue."

I ignore his comment, I'm sure it's not a real threat and only to motivate her.

"This is the spell." Bonnie slaps the book in a rage, standing up and making her way to the other side of the room. "I just don't know if I'm strong enough."

I flinch in surprise when I feel Klaus' hand caress the small of my back, pushing me slightly forward. "That's why she's here."

Bonnie crossed her arms over her chest, looking at me confused. I was honestly confused myself, I thought Klaus wanted to keep my powers a secret. I guess not anymore.

"How's a werewolf going to help me?" she asks bitterly.

It feels strange being called a werewolf. I'm used to being referred to as a human. Now I'm pretty much anything but human.

"This particular werewolf has a secret" Klaus puts a finger to his lips, making a shh gesture. "And you're going to exploit it to the best of your ability."

I stand awkwardly, not really knowing what to say. I think I'm waiting for Bonnie to say something in reply, but I don't know really.

Bonnie's eyebrow raises as she looks at me. Something snaps in her tough façade, causing her arms to fall to her sides and her eyes to look at me deeply. I feel as though she's trying to figure out something by the look on her face.

"You're a witch." She states.

I nod slowly. "Apparently."

Bonnie takes a deep breath, letting out all the air, shaking her head. "A newbie witch can't help me. This spell isn't something you can just do now that you've realized you have magic. Being a witch takes time, and a lot of practice."

"Then you should have a little more faith in yourself, Bonnie." I roll my eyes at Klaus' suttle pun. Klaus begins to move towards Bonnie, obviously making her uncomfortable. "Your energy helped my mother link us. Honestly, I think someone isn't trying very hard."

Bonnie doesn't say anything.

"Very well." Klaus mutters, pulling out his phone and quickly dialing someone's number. I find it extremely fascinating how that works.
