Yes. That's right.

I'm writing a sequel.

Believe it or not, it took me a very long time to decide whether I wanted to continue this book.

Some of you may be reading my Teen Wolf book series ?? The truth is after I wrote the first book, I was tired of the storyline. I tried to spice it up and add things to it but in the end it was too much. I lost interest, and I hate that I did. Love it like that did not do well, and I think part of the reason why is because my readers knew I wasn't driven to write for it.

I love this story. I love Klaus Mikaelson and I love the originals. I am very content with this story.

I don't want to ruin it by making a sequel but I have faith (see what I did there?) that it will do just fine.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ALIVE

The Vampire Diaries season 4 is irrelevant. I will not be writing for it in any way. The originals did live through it but in fast forward, however it will not be mentioned in detail.

This book goes straight into The Originals season 1. I chose to do this because of how I want to incorporate Faith. You'll understand what I mean when we get further into Alive.

Hayley will be in the story. I was very concerned with how I would bring her in, due to Klaus never having met her, and never having slept with her. BUT I thought it over, and I came to the conclusion that she is a crucial character, and The Originals needs her in order to make sense. She simply won't be AS important.
