Pull back the curtains and it ain't looking bright
Just listening to the sound of the rain in the night
Somebody else closes their eyes
just another day of my life
Look in the mirror one last time
Writing my note line by line
Trying my hardest not to cry
Is the grass greener on the other side
But the tears push past the barricade
and I wonder to myself if there's a reason
Don't ask me, I'm not okay
It's the final day of my life
And I'm telling you I love you
Even though it's much to late
I'm sorry I put you through this
It's a drug I have to take
But the tears push past the barricade
and I wonder to myself if there's a reason
Don't ask me, I'm not okay
It's the final day of my life
If someone could help me through this
you're the person I would choose
Take my hand
Pull me away from the edge
Free my head from this noose
But the tears push past the barricade
and I wonder to myself if there's a reason
Don't ask me, I'm not okay
It's the final day of my life
