My eyes flutter as I land on the ground. Were am I? How did I get here? How do I know my name is Rachel? All these questions churn in my head.
I survey the land around me. It's very blocky. There's lots of tall trees with vines and light green grass. I can see about five small lakes from where I am and a stream. I'm in some sort of jungle biome.
I look at myself. I'm blocky, too. So are my clothes. I'm wearing a light blue shirt and a dark blue skirt. I have knee-length brown hair and blue eyes. There are no shoes on my feet.
I walk over to one of the trees and start to punch it. The block I was punching disappears, leaving a hole in its place. I see the block of tree trunk, well, a small version of it, floating on the ground. I walk over to it and...POP! Where did it go?
I notice now that I have a small knapsack on my back. It's empty, except for that one block of tree trunk. I pick it up and start to fiddle around with it. After a few moments, I find that I can turn it into four dark-colored wooden planks! They fit snugly in my knapsack.
I decide to collect more wood and build myself a little house. I punch all the wood off of more trees, and find that I can pick up the vines, too. They also drop little saplings, so I can plant more.
After a few minutes, I have a lot of wooden planks, and I've made a small clearing. I find out that they fit into my knapsack in stacks of sixty-four. I pick up a stack and place a block of planks in the clearing. I place more blocks until I have the shape of a house, with two windows and a doorway. I walk inside and make a wooden roof and floor.I squeal with delight at my new home. I step outside. The sun will set in a little while. I tinker with more wooden planks and make a crafting table. I place it in a corner of my house. I tinker some more, and end up with a stack of sticks, a door, two chests, an axe, and a pick.
I smile at my cleverness and put both chests down in another corner. They make one double-chest. I place most of my things in it, leaving the door, axe, pick, and a stack of wooden planks in my knapsack. I place the door in the doorway as the sun sets.
Suddenly, I hear hissing and groaning. I look out of one of my two windows. There are zombies, giant spiders, skeletons with bows and arrows, these green things, and tall, black things with purple eyes. I'm frightened by the sight because something tells me they mean danger. I sit in a corner of my house and wait out the night.
