Rachel's P.O.V.
I moan and open my eyes. I blink. I am inside a very dim room. It takes a minute to remember what happened...journey...running...Dotty...
captured...oh. And Herobrine. I grit my teeth at the name.
I try to lift my arms, but I can't. I can't even stand up. I'm tied to a chair. There's another chair behind me, but it's empty. Then, I notice that I'm wearing chain linked armor. There are thick braids of vines going through the chains, holding me down. I'm alone, in a dim-lit room, tied to a wooden chair.
"HELP!" I scream.
Lights turn on. The room is lit well now. It's made out of mossy cobblestone. There's an iron door, but no way to open it.
"You're awake," says a voice I recognize. Herobrine. "It's about time."
He teleports in with his ocelot.
"What do you want, you dirty, rejected, useless creature? Oh, and your cat, too."
Herobrine has a look of self pity on his face, but when he notices I'm looking, he shakes it off and smirks at me.
"You got spunk, kid. A lot like your dear ol' dad used to have."
"Where is he?" I strain against the vines. The cat hisses and I stop.
After a moment, Herobrine replies. "You'll never find him. He's gone. Forever."
I stare in his eyes. "You're lying." I say. "You're a dirty liar! Where. Is. My. Dad. Answer me. Now!"
I think I see a look of surprise on his face for a minute, but he covers it up with another smirk. "Gone." he says.
I groan and glare at him.
"Why am I here?" I ask.
"You're powerful." Herobrine says. "I can't let you go around trying to stop me. So, you're going to stay here."
"Where's Paul?" I ask.
"I sent him back to his own village, miles and miles away from here. Without him, you have no direction anywhere. Plus, I also have your belongings in that chest over there." He gestures toward a little chest in a corner of the room.
"Oh, and I was wondering if you found anything special... a book, for instance?" Herobrine mentions casually.
"No." I say, but I wonder how he knows.
"I know you do. Anywho, can't let you be trying to escape. So, don't. I have lots of traps for you if you do. Goodbye." At this, he reaches his hand into his knapsack and pulls out a book... my book. Then, he smiles and teleports away with Grayson. The lights go dim again.
After that, Grayson teleports back in with a piece of bread with raw pork and an apple in the middle. There is also a bucket of water. After placing a button on the wall, a table comes out, right under my chin. He places the food on the table and watches my attempts to eat. I lean forward and pull the sandwich into my mouth, then grab the bucket with my mouth and tilt it.
After I eat, Grayson pushes the button and catches my bucket in his mouth as it falls. He puts the button in the bucket and teleports away.
After I am sure nobody is around, I come up with a plan. I lean my head down and start chewing the vines off.
