Small Fever

KakaNaru...No boyxboy...takes place when Naruto is 12. The fluff is all too real.

It was morning, and it was too early. Way to early(like 7:00). But Naruto never the less Naruto slammed his hand on his annoying alarm clock and got out of bed with a fresh smile on his face. He did feel weird though, but shrugged it of as being tired from the morning. He hopped out of bed and almost slipped on a stray ramen container but caught himself. He skipped to the bathroom and showered, brushed his teeth and washed his face and pulled over his baggy orange Jacket. Even though it was summer he was cold and he needed a jacket. He went downstairs and looked at his cupboards. He decided against food because the mere thought of it made his stomach turn oddly. He rushed out side the door. Saying "Today's gonna be awesome! Ya know?" he shouted to no one in particular.

He walked up to the bridge where team 7 was meeting. He saw Sakura and Sasuke.

"Hey Sakura-chan!" he said happily.

"Ugh Naruto, why do you have to be so loud so early in the morning." Sakura said snobbishly "And your a little late, you know your really lucky to have no one to tell you what to do and when to wake up and stuff. I mean Sasuke-kun can get here before any of us and he doesn't even need anyone to tell him what to do. So that just goes to show, not to abuse your freedom."

"Hn" Sasuke couldn't care less.

"H-Hey, I get here before the teme, everyday, except today" Naruto pointed out, he really didn't want to yell for some reason his throat was hurting.

"Baka, don't call Sasuke-kun a teme" Sakura hit Naruto upside the head and for some reason it hurt more like hell then usual. Naruto put his hands on his head.

"Oww, Sakura-chan that hurt"

"Yo" Their sensei said from behind him "Sorry I'm late, I was lost on the path of life" Kakashi said.

"LIAR" Sakura and Naruto turned to Kakashi.

"Hn" Sasuke grunted.

"Ok anyway, you will be sparring today." Kakashi said "Naruto, Sasuke, how about you start." they nodded and Sasuke and Naruto sparred for an hour, with Kunai and Shuriken and Thai-Jutsu. Naruto began to get slower and slower and his limbs ached more and more but he used his almost eternal energy to make up for his speed although he was getting a bit warm in his jacket.

"Your slow dobe" Sasuke said indifferently. Naruto looked at him but couldn't think of an arguement, his head hurt so much.

"I think it's time for you two to take a break"Kakashi said and Sasuke grunted and lowly seethed about slow loosers.

"Naruto! See what you did? You made Sasuke mad, because your so damn lazy." Sakura screamed in Naruto's ear which woke him up and then gave him a headache. Then Sakura whacked Naruto upside the head giving him an even worse headache. Naruto grabbed his head but he didn't complain, he could only mutter out a 'sorry'.

After training, Naruto seemed alright and was happy again and was walking until his team had to part ways. Sakura to the civilian district, Sasuke to the Uchiha district, and Naruto to the...Team 7 actually didn't know where Naruto lived, but he'd never tell them because they never asked. Only Kakashi knew where Naruto lived. As soon as Naruto was outside of sight range he leaned against the fence beside his and limped home. He was so tired and he felt like he was going to hurl, even though he didn't eat anything.

He lazily went to his apartment and heavily flopped on his bed. Maybe he'd feel better tomorrow.
