The choices we make

Takes place after Tsunade is retrieved. ShizuKaka. SasuNaru. KakaNaru. KuraNaru. No boyxboy, sorry but it's all mutual. Sakura bashing I guess she is not really in this fic. Some Kakashi bashing. VERY rushed beginning, I might go back and revise that later. But I'm lazy so who knows. 

He'd found a sense of pride. Finally for the first time in his life he felt like he could truly succeed. That someone else was hoping he would succeed. It felt good.

...but soon it was taken from him. As soon as he let it slip.

Naruto was walking up to the bridge. For the first time since he had returned with Tsunade, actually since the chunin exams, he would be meeting with his team. Team 7.

Naruto had learned a lot from his training with Jiriya and not just the Rasengon. He'd learned independence was not the same as loneliness. Loneliness was forced to be isolated, it was to be ignored. Independence was willing isolation, something to help you not rely on others.

But Naruto did get something else besides that. One night during this little trip, when Naruto was almost out of chakra he had accidentally entered what he called a mindscape, fitting name. He had met the nine tailed fox but instead of yelling at him he asked why he had attacked the village. To sum it up The fox told him his name, why he was rampaging (which was because he was controlled by 'the masked man') and that he'd help Naruto control his power, if that is what the blonde desired. Which Naruto was grateful for the soon to be training sessions. Kurama (which is the foxes name) was Naruto's friend.

Naruto had found the courage and confidence to tell his fellow teammates that he was indeed the container to the kyuubi and he was befriended with him.

Little did our young protagonist know, that as soon as he started to be friends with the Kyuubi, he started to look paranoid as well. Always snickering when the Kyuubi told him a joke, always smiling and nodding and on some occasions he'd say stuff out loud. While all of this would've been appropriate in Naruto's mind, on the outside he started to look crazy. Jiriya was getting worried for his student and asked Tsunade to keep an eye on him. When Tsunade asked why, Jiriya told her his reasoning. Tsunade understood and would NOT let anything happened to Naruto. After all he did save her and that's the promise she made to herself and Jiriya.

Naruto smiled brightly as he thought about this. Even if they didn't except him, he still had Kurama and Kurama had told him he had nothing to worry about. Kurama said they shoudl accept him and that's what filled Naruto up to the brim with happiness today, although he did have this nagging feeling that today was also going to be a bad one, but he pushed those thoughts aside.

He finally saw the bridge with his pink haired teammate, and his raven haired teammate waiting on the bridge. Sakura was trying to talk with Sasuke but Sasuke kept pushing not responding.

"Hey Sakura! Hey Sasuke!" Naruto yelled and ran forward.

"Hey Naruto, you seem happy today"Sakura said. She had an odd feeling today was going to be...weird. That is the only way she could put it since it wasn't going to be bad but not good either.

"Mmhmm" Naruto nodded happily. Sasuke smirked in his direction.

"Hope you haven't gotten out of shape, dobe" Sasuke smirked.

"No way! I learned a really cool jutsu when I was on my trip, teme!"Naruto retorted. "I'm gonna be hoake, ya know! And I can't let someone like you show me up, ya know?"

Sooner or later Kakashi poofs into existence. He knew this day was going to be bad for him and for a certain blonde shinobi. He absolutely hated that he had to do this but tsunades orders.
