Chapter 9: hanging out

*Valerie's P.O.V*

I woke up screaming at the top of my lungs. I looked around to see myself in bed. "It was just a nightmare." I was glad it wasn't real. I looked at my clock to see it was 10am. I laid in my bed just thinking about the nightmare that I just had.

As I was thinking all of a sudden my phone rang. I looked to see who was calling, it was my mom. after that nightmare I couldn't answer it. After a while it stopped. I just turned on the tv and watched random shows. My phone rang again and I looked if it was my mom again, but this time it was Mitch, I answered it.

(M-Mitch V-Valerie)

V- hello?

M-hey Valerie

V-hey Mitch what's up

M-there's a theme park and I though, maybe, do you wanna go with me?

V-sure I'll go

M-ok I'll pick you up at 7

V-ok bye

M-bye

I ended the call and I was just filled with excitement. I don't know why. I got up from my bed and went to my closet to look what I could wear.

I didn't see anything that interested me. I got my phone a called April to see if she wanted to go to the mall and go shopping.

We walked throw the the halls of the mall carrying loads of bags in our hands. we had been shopping for 3 hours now and we were getting hungry. "hey are you hungry?" I asked. "yea lets got to the food court." April suggested. we made our way to the food court. As we got there we saw it was full, well it was Saturday so the mall was packed.

We walked around the food court for a few minutes looking for a table. We finally saw a empty table and we Rushed to the table. We got our food and heeded to the table, we sat down and started eating. "so why did you wanna come shopping?" April asked getting out her burger. "well because today I'm going somewhere," I said starting to blush a little bit. "Who is he?" April asked with a "I know your hiding something" look. "what?" I asked. How did she know that I was going somewhere with Mitch. "your blushing like a strawberry," she said pointing at me with her burger.
"Now who's the guy?" she asked raising one of her eyebrows. "Mitch," I said with a shy voice. "Awww someone likes Mitch," April said teasing me. "yea ok fine I like him, but just a little bit, besides he probably doesn't like me that way." I looked down at the table. "don't say that, he might like you. You don't know that." April said in a worm voice, that made me feel better.

A few hours passed and we both went home. I had 2 hours left to get ready. I went to the bathroom and took a shower, then I put on a pair of kinny jeans that I got at the mall and a cute top. I didn't do anything to my hair since my hair was naturally wavy. I looked at the clock and it was 6:45. I had 15 minutes left. I just watched tv, I didn't put any makeup on cause I don't like makeup, it just annoys me. ( yea I don't wear makeup :| only mascara.)

I heard someone knocking on the door, I assumed it was Mitch. I was ready and I made my way to the door. when I opened the door I saw Mitch. I walked out the door and walked to his car.

We arrived at the theme park and there were so many rides. I just wanted to go in all of them. We were waiting in line for this roller coaster and then I heard a girl scream. "OMG are you TheBanjaCanadian?!" I turned around to see a girl around the age of 16. "Yep." Mitch said with a smile. "can I take a picture with you?"the girl asked. they took a picture together. "thank you." the girl said and then left. "I'm guessing that was a fan?" I asked raising my eyebrow. "yea."he said.

After the ride the park was closing and we had to leave. Mitch and I went home. "Well that was fun." I said. "yea." Mitch said. Then we said our goodbyes and I went inside.
