Chapter 43: Sweet

~*~Valerie's P.O.V~*~

"Wow Mitch you've out done yourself."

"Anything for you beautiful." He says in the sweetest voice I've ever heard as he kisses my cheek. I smile, letting out a small giggle.

"I love you," He says as he holds my hand gently.

"Wanna know something baby girl," he says as he let's out a small smirk. "what?" I ask.

"We've been together more than a year. You've been the best thing that has ever happened to me. And I feel something with you that I've never felt with another girl. I'm glad to call you mine. I love you." He says. I was speechless. All of a sudden I feel his hands on my waist. I blush. He starts kissing my neck, I can't help but let out a little moan. He looks at me. Those dark chocolate brown eyes; they melted me away.

~*~Mitch's P.O.V~*~

I stare into her beautiful hazel eyes. Those eyes would always make me fall for her. Her hair all messy, how I loved that. I look at her sweet plum lips. I lean in for a kiss. Her lips, sweet and soft. How I couldn't resist myself. I pick her up bridle style as I carry her to bed(it's not happening, y'all nasty cx) She lays in the bed as I tackle her with sweet kisses. She giggles. This might be one of the best days ever...

"Why didn't you do it?!" Jerome yells.

"I don't know, I was nervous." I answer. Jerome grabs and and sits me in a chair.

"You guys have been together more than a year, and you love her. You said you were gonna! When!" Jerome yells. "I told you already, I was nervous and I know I had many opportunities but I was afraid I would mess up! I'll do it when it's the right moment," I respond as I get up from the chair. Jerome signs, "all right." is all he says as he drinks his coffee. "wanna watch a movie?" He asks as he gets the movies out. "sure thing," I answer.

I look at my phone, it's late. Jerome and I are finishing up watching the movie. I have my beer on my right hand, well maybe we might had drank a bit. "So Mitch, when are you?" Agh does he have to keep bringing up. "I already told you, Im going to but when the right moment comes. That's when I'll do it." I respond. "I feel like your afraid," he says as he gets up. "Well...a bit..." I says in a low tone. "Why? you love her. She loves you, your not gonna get rejected." He answers as he hands me another beer. I take the beer and set it down on the coffee table. "I know, but what if she's not ready yet?"

"Just do it," he repeats.

"Fine, but I have to go. It's getting late." I say as I take my beer and hand it to him. I wave goodbye and leave.

I seat on the grass, looking at the beautiful stars that aluminate the dark skies. "Isn't it beautiful?" Valerie's asks as she lays her head on my shoulder.

"It's beautiful, but not as beautiful as you." Answer as I kiss her forehead.

"Mitch, you sure know how to make a girl happy." She answers.

"Well, I only know how to keep an amazing and unique girl like you happy." I say as look into her eyes. She smiles. "Your warm smile can always make me feel like I'm doing the right thing." I say. I kiss her. I look back at the shimmering stars, oh Montreal. You sure have an amazing view, just like I have an amazing girl with me. Now I have to find the right moment, to show her how much she means to me...
