Time Is Not What Matters

Chapter 2-The Bar

Third Person POV
Once they had waited three hours it was one thirty in the morning and their flight finally had permission to take off. So they fueled up the plane and all the passengers boarded. It was a pretty short flight considering that almost everyone was asleep. Now that they had just landed in Oklahoma they took all of their luggage off the cart and put it in the car. They arrived at the hotel. The decided who would be sharing rooms together. Avi and Kevin, Scott and Mitch, Kirstie and Esther.

Mitch's POV
I was sitting on my bed scrolling through Twitter when Scott came back from getting a movie at the front desk.
"Hey I got Big Hero 6. Is that alright?"
"Yeah sounds great."
"I'm sorry for yelling at you yesterday. I'd didn't mean to snap at you. I was just really hungover and I wasn't in the mood for-"
"Scott it's fine I totally understand we all have those days."
"Okay, I just didn't want you to be offended by it Mitchie."
"Don't worry. I wasn't. I could never be offended by what you say."

Scotts POV
Avi suggested that we should go and get some food in the city before it got too late. We all decided on a eating establishment and ate dinner. I ordered the steak with mash potatoes and great beans. Mitch got a grilled cheese and tomato soup. He only ate half of his food and he offered me the rest. I gladly excepted and finished his dinner.
"Kevin wants to go to a club. Do you want to come?"
"Sure" I replied
"Avi, Esther, and I are going to go back to the hotel and chill by the pool." Kirstie told us as they walked in the other direction.
I got up and ordered another shot. As I'm watching Mitch dance I feel myself smile. I've never felt this feeling before. It was a tingly feeling. I got up to get my shot, when I turned back to see Mitch gone.
