~~Hey guys, so this chapter is going to be fast and isn't going to have a lot of details. Anyways, happy reading!~~

After Scott came out of surgery he was drowsy and unaware of his surroundings. A little while later he was starting to understand what happened and where he was. As soon as he could open his mouth, he was asking for Mitch, and only Mitch. He was whining, begging, pleading for them to let Mitch see him.

"Please, ma'm you don't understand!" He whined.

"Mr. Hoying I understand that you want this Mitch fellow, but right now you cannot have visitors."

"Why!? I just want Mitch, he's clean I swear!"

"Sir, I'm sorry, but no."

"No."

"What do you mean no?"

"I want Mitch now. And if you do not bring him to me right now I will get up and find him myself." Scott said in a very serious tone.

The nurse sighed, "Fine, I'll go get him. What's his name?"

Scott smiled. " Mitch Grassi."

"Okay. I'll be back in a bit."

Scott laid there looking up at the ceiling smiling to himself, and at the thought of Mitch holding his hand.

The door creaked a little as the small petite figure stepped in to the room.

"Mitchie!" Scott called cheerfully.

"Scott?"

Scott looked at him with concern in his eyes. There was something wrong with Mitch, and Scott knew it. Mitch could easily hide things from him, but right now all of him was laid before Scott's eyes.

"Mitch, babe, what's wrong?"

"I'm so, so sorry." He said, a few tears making their way down his cheeks.

"Hey," Scott cooed, his hand extended Mitch's way.

"What do you have to be sorry about?"

"The last interaction we had, and-and it was a fight."

"No, don't put this on yourself Mitch. I was just tired and cold, and angry with myself. I don't want you to feel guilty about anything."

"But I can't help but feel guilty. It's bottled up inside of me. I was really scared. I still am. You could've died."

"Mitch, they just had to take my appendix out. It's fine. Kids go through that. It's fine. I'm fine. Trust me." A small sympathetic smile made its way on to his face.

"Are you sure that's it?"

"I'm sure."

"Oh, thank god." Mitch walked over and slung his arms a around Scott in a big hug.

"Ahem." They both turned around to see Kirstie, Kevin, and Avi.

"Scott, thank goodness you're okay." Kevin said walking over to his bedside.

"Mitch, I'm sorry Kevin and I didn't answer your call."

"Oh, it's fine, you're here now."

"Kit?" Scott asked.

She didn't move. When she walked in the room, she looked at Mitch then she stared at the painting behind Scott. Mitch walked over to her, putting a hand on her mid back, when he did this she jumped, almost frightened by his touch.

"Kirstie. What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I'm perfectly fine, sorry."

"Kit there is obviously something wrong."

"Mitch, I'm fine. Drop it."

"Kirst-"

"Mitch!" She growled.

"What? I'm just concerned about you."

"Guys," Avi interrupted. "Now isn't the time nor place to sort this out."

"Yeah," Kevin added.

"Kit? Can we talk when we get home?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because."

"Fine."

"Fine."

They turned away from each other, Mitch walking over to Scott's side, Kirstie sitting down on the chair in the corner.
