The Rest of the Family

You've been living with Undyne for just over a month now. Today she has to go on a little "field trip" with the rest of her family. You insisted that you can stay home. Maybe clean up a bit. But Undyne refuses to hear of it. She's dragging you into this. You had a feeling you might regret coming. But a part of you was happy that she wants you to come.
"COME ON [Y/N\ROSANNE]! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" Undyne shouted from downstairs.
"WELL IT'S NOT MY FAULT MY SHOES DECIDED TO BE STUBBORN TODAY UNDYNE!" You joked. Your shoes literally wouldn't tie for you. Undyne came stomping up the stairs and tied them for you.
"There!" She said triumphantly.
"Thanks!" You chirp as you jump down stairs and run into Undyne's hummer. By the time she got in her hummer, you are already buckled and ready to go.
"Come on! We're going to be late!" You say trying to mock Undyne jokingly.
"Punk!" She says as she starts the hummer and pulls out.
"Yep!" You've grown to like the nickname.

~TIMESKIP CAUSE WHY WOULD READER-CHAN WANT TO KNOW THE ENTIRE DRIVE THERE?~

You and Undyne arrive at the park five minutes early. It gave you time to be introduced to the rest of the "family", as Undyne calls it.

Toriel seems nice. She offered you some snail pie and you gladly accept. Loving every bite. Asgore is like a big teddy bear to you. He allowed you to sit in his lap. You almost fell asleep. If it wasn't for Flowey. He keeps throwing his 'friendliness pellets' at you just to annoy you. You have a feeling he doesn't like you.
As you waited, Alphys showed up next with Mettaton and Napstablook close behind. You figure they carpooled here. All of you spend another five minutes waiting for the skeleton brothers to show up with one more individual.
"HELLO FRIENDS! AND HUMAN FEMALE!" You heard Papyrus call. You turn to see Pap, Sans, and...
Sans didn't even get to say anything as you scream, "FRISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And tackle your little cousin, who was behind Sans, in a hug.
Frisk giggled in response. You can tell he missed you just as much as you missed him.
You feel everyone staring holes into the back of your skull. But you didn't care. You get to see your cousin again!
You kept hugging Frisk till Sans cleared his throat. You and Frisk both looked at him.
"would ya' care ta' explain?"
"Oh! Right!" Frisk said as you let him go and you both stand up.
Frisk explained that you two are cousins and you haven't seen each other in roughly eight years.
"WELL I AM GLAD YOU TWO CAN MEET AGAIN!"
"Me too Papy!" Frisk said.
You all decided to play hide and seek. Except Flowey. Since he can't exactly play. You're all on the eighth round. You're the last one hiding. You watch as Sans walked right under the tree you climbed in order to hide. Since Flowey isn't playing, you're all using him as a hint spot. You watch as Papyrus walks over to Flowey.
"HEY FLOWEY?"
"Need a hint Papyrus?" He says. Rather kindly.
"YES!"
"Okay~! Try looking up." Flowey winks sticking out his tongue.
"THANK YOU FLOWEY!"
"You're very welcome Papyrus!" Flowey did a cute little giggle.
You watch as Papyrus comes IMMEDIATELY over to your tree and looks up to you. Luckily you're wearing shorts.
"I FOUND YOU HUMAN FEMALE!" He exclaimed.
"WELL THEN COME AND GET ME PAP!" You yell down. You're towards the top of the tree, so you know it might be a while for Papyrus to come up and get you. So you get comfy and enjoy watching Papyrus climb the tree to come and get you.
Before he started climbing he lets out a hearty "NYEH HEH HEH!!!!!!!!!" And pursues to get you.
He came within his arms reach and grabbed your foot. You let out a yelp of surprise.
"I HAVE CAPTURED YOU HUMAN! YOU MUST SURRENDER TO I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS!"
You giggle and say "NEVER! I SHALL PREVAIL FOR THE REMAINING TWENTY SECONDS OF THIS ROUND! THE HIDING SHALL WIN!"
"I WILL GET YOU TO TOUCH THE GROUND HUMAN! NYEH HEH HEH!!!"
He gently tugs your foot. But it was enough for your clumsy body to completely fall out of the tree. Taking Papyrus with you. You end up landing on top of him. But you didn't realize that till Papyrus shook you. The fall left you in a daze. Papyrus shakes you a little harder.
"Huh?!? What?!?" You say looking around.
Then Flowey calls, "TIMES UP! THE HIDING WIN!"
You hear that and jump up screaming, "YES!!!!"
You hear Pap sigh in relief. You look down at him and see that he's in pain.
"Uh... Pap? You okay?"
Pap shakes his head and groans in pain. Sans then comes over to the two of you.
"heya. what happened?"
"I don't know."
Sans then leans down next to Pap and speaks in some sort of jibberish that you can't understand.
"orb yako uoy?"
"ON."
"yhw?"
"'ENOZ-ENOB' YM NO DEDNAL NAMUH EHT!"
"... ho.............."
(reader-chan please pretend the language the skeleton brothers are speaking is Wing Ding.. Thank you! ;P)
"What did I do?" You ask. By now everyone has gathered around to see what happened. Except Flowey. Since he saw what happened.
"ereht dnal ehs did yhw?"
"REH WOLEB SAW, ESROUC FO, I. LLEF EHS, DEDNE DNOUR EHT EROFEB NWOD REH TEG OT TNEW I SA DNA EERT EHT NI GNIDIH SAW EHS, LLEW."
"eert eht ni saw ehs wonk uoy did woh dna?"
"YEWOLF MORF TNIH A TOG I."
"ko."
"Papyrus?" You say. On the verge of tears that you almost killed him. Not a good impression in front of your cousin.
Papyrus heard your voice crack and sat up as fast as he could through the pain. He pulled you into a hug as you started to cry. Flowey is now interested and he popped on over to everyone's position.
"IT'S OKAY HUMAN! THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS FINE. YOU JUST LANDED ON HIS SENSITIVE AREA. IT HURT A LOT. BUT THAT IS OKAY!" He reassured you. If you have to be honest with yourself, it worked.
You sniff and hug Papyrus back. "Thanks Pap." You whisper just loud enough for him to hear.

~ANOTHER TIMESKIP CAUSE AUTHOR-CHAN IS TOO LAZY TO EXPLAIN THE ENTIRE VISIT~

Papyrus was able to convince you and Undyne to let you stay the night at the skeleton brothers. Frisk, apparently is spending the weekend at their place. So you figured you get to spend more time with Frisk. It was kind of late.
"hey pap." Sans says as you all walk inside.
"YES SANS?" Frisk ran in and went straight to Papyrus's room.
"where's [Y/N\Rosanne] gonna sleep? frisk is kind of sleeping in the spare."
Papyrus face palms. "I DID NOT THINK OF THAT!" You giggle and sit on the couch. "I SUPPOSE THAT HUMAN FRISK CAN SLEEP WITH THE GREAT PAPYRUS TONIGHT?"
"with the way you've been coming home? nah. we don't need the kid to be..." Sans glances at you. Then he looks back at Papyrus. "enoz-enob eht ot nekat."
"OH.. RIGHT...."
"I can sleep on the couch. It's fine." You say.
"ya sure [Y/N\Rosanne]? i'm sure frisk wouldn't mind sleeping with you." Sans says.
"Okay. One. Ew, that sounded wrong. Two. It's no problem at all. I once had to sleep on a cold, concrete floor with nothing. No blanket, pillow, heating, or... " You look to make sure Frisk isn't listening. Then you whisper to Sans and Papyrus, "or clothes."
"oh...." Sans seemed to get a dark aura around him.
But Papyrus's self-esteem seems to take it away from him as he starts to speak.
"WELL IF YOU INSIST HUMAN FEMALE! YOU SHALL SLEEP ON THE COUCH!"
"Okay!" You chirp. You don't know why, but everyone's happiness seems to give you the confidence that you know you don't have. So when they're gone, you feel empty.

~30 MINUTES LATER~

You walk into Papyrus's room. He and Frisk are playing 'Chutes and Ladders'. You didn't want to break up their fun, but it's past bedtime for Frisk.
"Okay you two. Frisk, it's time for bed."
Frisk just crossed his arms and pouted.
"No?" You say. Frisk shakes his head.
"COME ON FRISK! WE CAN CONTINUE THIS GAME OF SLIDES AND LADDERS TOMORROW! AMBASSADORS NEED THEIR SLEEP TOO YOU KNOW!"
Papyrus picks Frisk up. He giggles and says "Nuuuuuuu!" As Papyrus takes him out of the room and into the spare. You follow them and tackle Frisk to the bed before he could escape back into Papyrus's room again.
"Oh no! It's PAST your bedtime! What will Toriel say if she finds out you stayed up ALL night?" You say.
That seems to put some sense into them as they scramble to get their pajamas on. You patiently wait outside his door for him to get finished. You hear Papyrus through the door.
"HUMAN FRISK WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO READ YOU A STORY TONIGHT?........ NO? THEN HOW ABOUT SANS?...... YOU WANT YOUR COUSIN TO PUT YOU TO SLEEP?....... OKAY HUMAN FRISK! GOODNIGHT!"
You watch as Papyrus comes out of the room only to be replaced by Sans.
"heh... am i reading fluffy bunny?"
"No. I want [Y/N\Rosanne] to put me to sleep tonight!" You hear Frisk say.
"heh.. okay kiddo. night."
"Night Sans!"
Sans walks out as you walk in. Frisk is jumping up and down on the bed in a purple and majenta stripped onezie. You give off a little laugh.
"Am I reading you a story or singing you a lullaby?" You say. You asked him this because before, when you used to put Frisk to bed, he wanted you to sing a lullaby. But you figured he would want a story where it seems that's what Sans and Papyrus do. But you weren't sure so you asked.
"LULLABY! LULLABY!" They say.
"Okay.. But you have to be laying down and under those blankets of yours." You say. He obeyed willingly. Obviously excited for the lullaby. "So which one?"
"The one about the mocking bird!"
You giggle and say, "Okay."

You replaced 'baby' with Frisky and 'papa' with cousin. Frisk never minded. As you see him drift asleep, you put a stuffed teddy bear in between his arms. Just as you finish the song, you sneak out of the room, turning off the lights and closing the door softly before you go downstairs.

When you reach downstairs, you find the brothers sitting on the couch.
"heh... you got a nice voice there kid." Sans says as you sit down in between the brothers.
"I agree! Your singing almost put I, the Great Papyrus, to sleep as well!" Papyrus says quietly. As to not wake Frisk.
"Thanks guys." You say.
You three sit there for a few minutes before Papyrus spoke up.
"Human female. Would you like to accompany me to Grillby's for karaoke tonight?"
"I'd love to Pap!" You say.
"Great!"

(somethings going to happen at Grillby's.... but what will that be?
