You sigh and close your eyes. When you open them again, they fall to your hands in your lap. You twiddle your thumbs around. Papyrus seems to pick up on your nervousness. He puts a hand under your chin and lifts your head so you can look at him. He gives you a warm smile.

"IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER..... I WON'T TELL ANYONE WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT."

You smile and nod. Knowing that he'll keep it a secret fills you with CONFIDENCE.

"Okay. It's going to get a bit weird. So please try to keep up!"

"ALRIGHT!"

You smile at Papyrus's enthusiasm. "Okay." You take a deep breath and start the story.

"I had a family once. A mom, dad, about seven older brothers, and a baby sister. We were happy. Dad worked regularly at the factory. Mom liked to cook. So she had a bakery. Four of my older brothers had part time jobs at the school. They would do janitor work. Two of my brothers were science geeks and were constantly traveling for science fairs and things like that. And my other brother was happily married and had three kids himself. I would help my mom when I could. Wether it was helping with my baby sister or helping in the bakery. Otherwise I was a 'normal' teenage girl who went to school, did homework, had chores, had friends....." You couldn't explain that part of your life any farther. Papyrus seems to understand. But he patiently waits for you to continue.

"Then my mom was diagnosed with stomach cancer and dysentery. She spent one month... Suffering.. From starvation. The cancer was so bad she could hardly drink a sip of water. And the dysentery just made it worse. If she didn't die from starvation, she was most likely going to die from dehydration. The pain was so bad she could hardly sit up. After one month.... She died in her sleep.

"Dad took it really hard. He ended up quitting his job and became an alcoholic. My oldest brother died in a bank robbery. We lost touch with his wife and kids. My four brothers ended up killing themselves using the janitor supplies. My other two brothers hung themselves. And my baby sister was still breast feeding. So when Mom died, I tried to switch her to formula. Only to accidently kill her cause I didn't know she was allergic to an ingredient in the formula.

"Afterwards I got a part time job in a bar. With my father not working and my brothers now dead, we had no money coming in. When I told the owners of the bar my situation, they agreed to help me. They said I looked over eighteen and could work as a waitress. So I did.

"That was probably the worst mistake of my life." You have to take a minute to breath. Papyrus seems to understand as you begin to eat some of your fries and drink some more water.

"When I worked as a waitress, several patrons got drunk just to lay with me. Which meant they dragged me to the back alley way.......... They raped me..... I told the owners after about the fiftieth time. They said it was normal but where I wasn't exactly over eighteen they agreed to let me go. They gave me my pay and I turned in my uniform.

"I then got a job as a cashier at a gas station. It wasn't that bad... Until my seventeenth birthday. That day my father and several of his 'buddies' came in. Dad was so drunk (and I was wearing my uniform) that he didn't recognize me. He and his buddies took me out back....... And took turns raping me. Drinking more and more as they went.

"When my boss then found out, he pressed charges against my father. Since I no longer had a guardian, I had to move to my sister-in-law's. My oldest brother's wife. That's when I met her parents and siblings. Her mother also had three sisters. One of which was Frisk's mom. That's when I met Frisk. I would always play with him and sing him to sleep. He was my only exception when it came to performing publicly. I hate being on stage.
