You and Papyrus walk into Grillby's. Grillby being the only one there. So that means no karaoke tonight. Luckily for you. You don't like to sing if you don't have to. Frisk is your one exception when it comes to singing. You never liked the spotlight.
You were so lost in your thoughts tat you didn't hear Papyrus talking to you until he snapped his fingers in front of your face.
"HUMAN? [Y/N\ROSANNE]? ARE YOU LISTENING? HELLO??" He dragged out the 'o' in 'hello', trying to gain your attention.
"Hm? What is it Pap?" You say.
Grillby didn't come with your orders so you figured he knew what Papyrus is about to do. If you have to be honest with yourself, you are seriously nervous right now.
"I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING. BUT YOU HAVE TO PROMISE YOU WON'T TELL ANYBODY ABOUT IT. ESPECIALLY SANS! HE'LL GO ALL APE CRAP ON ME.... If he were to ever find out.." He said the last part in a quieter tone. With your experience as a therapist's assistant, you know he's going to get emotional on you.
You grab his hand that's closest to you and start rubbing it with your thumb. "Don't worry Pap. I won't tell. You can always talk to me and we'll treat it like a therapy session okay? You tell me but I won't tell a single soul." You smile, trying to reassure him that it's okay to tell you.
He sighs. "OKAY. The only other person (considering I HAD to tell him) that knows about this is Grillby. So it's okay to talk to him."
"Okay. What do you have to tell me?"
Papyrus took a deep breath. He then stares you in the eyes. "I think I might have depression."
