The night hasn't been really cold, so instead of turning the chimney on, Shawn and I, lightened up candles around the room to give some brightness but not a lot of "hotness". The candles made the house seem cute, more like romantic, and with such a foggy day, they helped a lot.

We brought all our covers and threw them over the wooden floor to sit over them and cover ourselves. Shawn brought his royal cards to have a game night after such a crazy day, and now that we've gotten so close this past days, we thought it would be fun playing something together. I felt so comfy, and besides, we made some hot chocolate and dropped a couple of coffee seeds in to improve it's taste, and as a final touch we served it on two mugs topped with mint leaves. We sat in front of each other. Shawn mixed the cards with some traditional tricks, and meanwhile I smiled at him, unable to get his kiss out of my head! He splits the cards in two packs, and gives each one of us 4.

"Let's do something." he smirks.

"Speak up, boy."

"I win. I get to kiss you. Again."

At first I wasn't ok with it, but what's the worst thing that can happen? I shake my head, "Ok. What if I win...?"

Shawn thinks looking at the ceiling and then back at me. "You get to answer the question I asked you last night."

"What are we...?" I repeat.

"Yep."

"That's so stupid..." I take a deep breath, and let it out with a nervouse giggle. He counts to three and we let our royal cards down. I got straight As, Shawn got two Qs, one 2, and another 3. "You won."

"Are you kidding me?" I complain throwing my cards."

"Go ahead." He insists.

"Ok then... Physically, I think you're pretty nice, maybe not the perfect blue eye beach boy I always dreamed of, but you're pretty enough for me."

"Personality?"

"We've been a day-"

"-13 years."

"...Interacting with each other." I roll my eyes. "And I think your amazing. You're kind, generouse, sweet..."

"Then why don't we give it a shot?"

"Cause I don't know if it's the right thing, we know each other for basically a day-"

"13 years. Again."

"The point is... I'm afraid it might not work..."

"You'll never know until you try." He leaves his cards there and moves besides me. I shake my head, and let a sigh out laying my head on his shoulder. We both fell asleep besides each other, even though it was pretty difficult for me after overthinking so much our recent conversation. Should I give it a shot?

Should I give it a shot?

*********

"GRACE!" Shawn enters desperate to my room waking me up. All I remember is waking up on the middle of the night besides Shawn and decided to crawl inside my bedroom.

"What's wrong?" I ask nervouse.

"THE TRACKERS HAVE FOUND US!" He takes my covers off and pulls me up by a hand. When we are about to leave my room a tracker enters the house. My jaw dropps and my heart stops. I haven't seen one of those in years. Shawn immidiately pulls me back into my room and we both hide inside my closet. Shawn stands behind me holding me close to him. When the step of the tracker touches my room y gasp and Shawn covers my mouth with his hand from behind. My heart starts beating so fast I felt it was going to come out of my chest. It's all starting again...

The tracker. Those white uniforms huge pistols and black helmets. I'm shaking. He leaves my room, and slowly Shawn opens the closet door. "We need to leave this house NOW!" he whispers. Shawn doesn't leave my hand, and pulls me out the room as we tiptoe upstairs while the trackers studies on the back part of the kitchen. I step over an electric bullet that shocked my whole leg, I scream and fall to the ground.

"Fuck." that's all Shawn says.

The tracker immediately hears me, and Shawn has no other option than to carry me up and keep running. Casually, we always leave our ventilation canals opened and Shawn immidiately crawls inside the nearest with me. He lays me on the ground, and trying to avoid any echoes, he asks me if i'm okay. My leg hurts so much, it feels like a terrible deep cramp chewing my bones and crushing my whole leg. I shake my head no, and drops of sweat run down my face. "Go away if you need to. I'm fine alone-"

"No you're not."

The pain starts to fade slowly, but the sound of more and more trackers seemed to make it worse. "Lets go, I think I can handle it. I won't risk your life because of mine." I crawl back and when I'm about to step back a tracker catches me and starts to shoot. "TURN AROUND!!". We crawl the other way around, until we reach the other side wich is outside the house, but there's nothing but a steep hill with rocks and a river, and the house is surrounded by thousands of trackers.

"We are so screwed up..." he says in a sigh.

"What do we do now?" I ask nervous, shaking, trying to find a way out.

"It's ok. We'll figure it out."

The tracker keeps shooting, and everytime he shoots, the canal shakes, and dust falls down. For the first time in 13 years there hasn't been peace in this house, where the only thing that is heard is the sound of the falling cascade.
