I must've fallen asleep, because I awoke to the sounds of morning and to the smell of Peter's cigars. I was lying fully on the ground with his coat as my pillow. He was standing a few feet in front of me, with his back turned. Obviously it wasn't just his coat that I was using as a pillow, it was his shirt too.
I stared at his muscled back, holding back the drool that was pouring from my mouth. Maybe that was just drool from my sleep. I shook the thoughts out of my mind and stood, brushing the dirt and pine needles off my clothes.
"Good morning," I sang.
He chuckled and turned. "Good morning, to you too. Did you sleep well?"
I tried to not faint when I saw his chest. His build wasn't "perfect", per say, but it was everything I wanted in a man. Lightly visible abs, perfectly toned pecs and hairy muscular arms. I'd never seem him shirtless before. "Y-yes, I slept very well, thank you." I stuttered, trying to take my mind off of all the sexual thoughts coming into my mind.
He chuckled and my reaction. "I wished I could've let you stay on my lap, but I began to grow hungry and knew I needed to eat. But I didn't want to leave you sleeping on nothing, so I gave you my shirt and coat as a pillow."
I grinned and walked up to him, giving him a hug so that I could feel his perfect muscles. "Thank you,"
After a minute he pushed me back. "Okay, okay, that's enough. I know why you wanted to hug me. I'm going to put my shirt back on now, okay?"
I groaned, standing back. "Fine," I crossed my arms. I sighed as I watched him cover himself back up. "You're no fun," I teased him when he walked up to me.
He laughed. "I know, but I think that's enough of the romance for now. I don't want to get sick of you."
Those words cleared my mind and I nodded. "You're right, I'll pull back." I said. After a pause I spoke up again, since my stomach began to growl. "I need to go and grab breakfast, will you wait here for me?"
He smiled softly, lighting another cigar. I was surprised how quickly he went through those things. "Of course. Take your time. I'm going nowhere."
I smiled and ran off, wanting to get back here immediately. All I wanted was a breakfast sandwich at a nearby fast food joint. That shouldn't take too long at all, especially if I get it at the other town.
I froze when I saw Sapphire standing by my car with a worried expression on her face.
"Sapphire?" I said as I came out of the woods.
"Felicia! I'm so glad you came, I was just about to go and meet you."
"What's the matter?"
"Joshua, the alpha of the werewolves, has called a council. And even though you're not technically a werewolf yet, as far as he knows, he wants you there too. He'll be starting it very soon, I came here as fast as I could." she explained.
I looked around. There was not a car in sight. I looked at her extremely fit build. "You walked?"
She nodded. "But we don't have time for questions. We have to go, now." her voice was filled with urgency.
"Can I at least say goodbye to Peter?" I asked.
She sighed and nodded. "But you only have a minute!"
I nodded back and dashed back into the woods.
Peter was sitting against a tree, smoking what had to be his third cigar, because it looked fresh. He stood when he saw my panicked self. "What's wrong?"
