3 years Later...
"Daddy, wake up" Smiled Jesse as he shook the huge flame looking dragon with wings and smoke colored horns and spikes.
The red dragon open it's blood eyes and looked at the emerald eyes child and smiled.
"C'mon dad, I want to go outside." The dragon rolled his eyes and gave Jesse the signal to get in his back. The dragon can't speak but he taught Jesse how to understand him and other animals. Jesse got on his adopted father's back and the dragon left the cave, when they got out it was nighttime. The cave where the two live is a few miles away from Jesse's old home. Jesse knew he was adopted and that his real father and mother died during the fire. It sadden him to know that he lost his parent he never knew, but he was happy that he had a new father. The dragon and Jesse were on the low ground to hide from humans. The red dragon knew that Jesse would be fine with humanity because he is a human, but he is worried that the two will get separated if they find Jesse. The red dragon loved Jesse like a son and he would do anything to protect him. As for Jesse he doesn't want to be near humans. Because Jesse is afraid of them since he hasn't had human connection for three years. He also thinks that they are cruel because they hunt animals and some human caused the fire that killed his parents.
After a hour the red dragon and Jesse stopped at their destination. They were both in their favorite spot of the forest. There was a large river that sparkle because of the moonlight with green grass surrounding it and flowers were everywhere and it looked more beautiful thanks to the moon's shinning light. Jesse got of the red dragon and ran around a bit. The red dragon laid down on the ground as he watch Jesse run around the green field and laugh.
Then suddenly an arrow was shot to Jesse. The red dragon noticed the arrow and warned Jesse to move out of the way. Jesse turned around and saw the arrow. He freaked out that his eyes started to glow. The arrow glowed the same colors and it saw shot to where it came from. There was a scream and that made Jesse calm down. He knew that the human that shot the arrow was dead and that he was safe. Jesse began to cry and ran to his father's chest for comfort.
"It's alright Jesse, it's ok" Jesse understood what his father said.
"What just happened dad?" Jesse asked as tears fell on his face.
"I don't know Jesse, I swear I don't know but I promise we will find this out together."
"O-ok dad, you promise?"
The red dragon smiled at his son.
"I promise."
Jesse smiled and fell asleep in his father's arms. The red Dragon carefully put Jesse on his back and went back on their cave. The dragon laid down and carefully putted Jesse in his arms. The dragon licked Jesse and smiled. He then laid down his head on the ground to fall sleep.
N/A: Hey guys here is another chapter, and by the way the red dragon idea was the red dragon Notch was planning to add. So I thought about using him in the story, BYE!!!!
