Chapter 2: Friends or Enemies?

Three years later..

Jesse's Pov:

I was laying on a tree branch over the entrance of my cave, I was thinking about whats happened over my years with dad. Over the past three years things started to get even more crazy. Some guy almost killed me, I learn I had powers and now I am learning how to use them. Me and dad found out I have the power to heal (not bring someone back to life sadly), summon a sword and fighting powers. I never thought I was given these powers. I guess this is one thing I can learn about my parents, maybe they had powers and they give them to me? I don't know but I wouldn't find out either. I sighed and looked at the stars above me. I loved to see the night's beauty. I then heard light roars from the cave which means one thing, dad is calling me. 

"I'm coming dad." I said as I climbed down the tree.

I went to inside the entrance and followed the redstone torches path. When father found me he knew I would have a hard time seeing, but since he didn't had hands to craft or grab things, it made things difficult, but he helped me until I was old enough to make the torches. I used redstone than the normal ones because I loved the dark and also just in case a humans finds this cave, to make sure they don't enter our home.  After a few moments I found dad siting up and looking at me with his blood eyes. He smiled when he saw me.

"Ah here you are" He said, I can understand his roars thanks to him, I own him my life.

"Yes father, what it is that you called me?" I asked.

"*sigh* Jesse you hate humans, right?"

"Yes why do you ask?"

"*sigh* I never thought I say this but, I want you to go to the humans place so you could get me something."

"*sigh* Look father, whatever obstacle it is I will do it do it, even if it mean going to humanity."

I saw father smile and I went to him and hugged him.

"Alright, but first I want you to go to mine that gold behind me and smelt it in that furnace, don't worry about the coal there's some already."

I nod and did what he told me to do. There were about three pieces of gold ore. After I mined the gold ore I went to the furnace and let them smelt. After a while the gold ore was done smelting.

"Good, now I want you to go the humans place and buy a potion of healing, that gold should be enough."

"Are you sick?"

"No, but I want you to get it just in case. Also I don't want you to get attention otherwise things will not go good. I want you to use your hood to hide your face so humans don't see you get scared since you haven't had human constant for six years." 

I smiled at father and give him a quick hug before I start to leave to the entrance of the cave.

"And remember, get me the potion of healing and only talk to the salesman with a strong voice."

"I will"

I just hope I don't get things mixed up otherwise I won't see father ever again.

In the Human place...

I finally made it to the humans' place, I was scared to see all these humans walking to me, but I hid it so no one would see that I am scared. I then saw a salesman that had black hair with a beard sorrunding him and wore a green coat and pants around with a belt with a lapiz gem. I had the courage to go to him to buy the potion of healing.

"Hi there kiddo, here to buy a potion" the salesman said with a smile

"Yes" I anwsered nervously

"Which kind?"

"Potion of healing." 

"Hold one moment."

I saw him turn around and grab the potion.

"That will be three gold ingots please."

I gave him the gold Ingots and he gave me the potion in return. I putted the potion away in my inventory and went to my way to the woods.

"Hey loser, what's your name?" I heard someone ask me harshly.

I turn around a saw a boy that was about a year older than me who had brown hair. He had green-yellow eyes and he wore a green shirt grey pants and a black Jacket. I didn't speak I just stood there.

"Well? are you going to answer or are you going to stand there?" he asks me rudely.

This is why I hate humans, they are rude and evil.

"Hey Aiden who are you talking to?" We both face two more people one of them was a girl the other was a boy.

"Never mind the introduction, lets give the boy a taste of his medicine."

The three walked to me to hit me. I was about to run away to the wood when suddenly " HEY LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!"

I turn around and saw three kids that were either older or my age. One was big guy with a huge unibrow with black eyes. He had black hair and was wearing a green jacket with tan pants and fingerless gloves. The other two were girls. One was had brown skin with black hair as pony tales and she was wearing googles. The last kid was a girl with ginger hear and wore a blue striped bandanna on her head. She wore a dark blue T-shirt and a black vest over it, and had black shorts.

"Pfft whatever, come on guys lets go." said Aiden as he and his friends left.

"T-Thank you" I manage to say.

"No problem" Said the ginger haired girl. "The name's Petra, this is Olivia and that's Axel."

"What's your name?" Axel asks.

"M-my n-name's Jesse" I said with a pinch of nervousness.

"What's wrong Jesse?" Axel asks.

"Oh god what am i going to do now?"

"I uh have to go." I said as I ran away to the woods. I heard them yell for me to stop and come back, but I didn't I just kept on running. After a few moments of running I finally lost them. I started to continue walking to the cave. After A few moments I finally made it. I gave the potion to dad and I told him what happened.

"Hmm I see"  he said as I laid down next to him.

"I almost blew it."

"No you didn't"

"What do you mean?"

"You see Jesse, the reason I sent you to get that potion is for you to see the positive side of humanity. Some humans are cruel but that doesn't mean every human is."

I looked at dad with a surprised look. I never thought he wanted me to open up to humanity. I smiled at him and I fell asleep.

"Maybe they could be your friends and they can help you get human contact at last."

I smiled while I slept.

"Maybe."

N/A: Ok here is chapter two. Jesse for the first time in six years he goes to the human's town for a potion and sees that there is balance between cruel humans and nice humans. Now Jesse is thinking about becoming friends with the people who helped him. Will it end will? Find out next time. SEE YA LATER!!!!
