Chapter 33: Positions

Petra's Pov:

We got on Jesse's father's back, except for Jesse. He was talking to his father as I looked at him and to be honest, I was a little scared. 

"Ok guys, Father will fly you to the other side where you can lead the troops to you. Distract them and use your bows and arrows when your in the air. Once you guys had lead the troops away, use the fireworks to give me a sign."

"Jesse? Can I... Come with you?" I asked as he looked at me with a worried look.

"Petra...I know you want to help me, but I need to fight him on my own, I finally have my answer after all these years."

I wanted to cry there and now, I want to help Jesse in another way. Just then, Jesse's father muttered something on Jesse's ear.

"Father? Are you sure it's a good idea?"

Jesse's father seemed to be taking my side, because he looked at me nodded.

"Alright, Petra come."

I jumped down and ran to Jesse. Jesse looked at Axel, Olivia and his father.

"Alright, you guys know what to do. We will wait for the signal." Jesse said.

They nodded and Jesse's father spread his wings and flew to the left of the base. We heard alarms and loud noises on there. We saw a sea of these creatures run or ride horses to our friends. I was beginning to worry, but I knew they would be find as long as they are in the air.

Jesse noticed my expression and he pulled me close to make my head rest on his shoulder. I looked at him and he gave me a small smile, to assure me that everything will be fine.

"Don't worry Petra, they will be fine. As father explained me, you guys had train all these years to become great warriors. Although, I wished that you went with them, so you could be much safer."

I looked at him and kissed his cheek, he looked at me with a light pink blush. I rested my head on his chest as his chin rested on my head.

"Don't worry Jesse, I will be fine. No matter what, we will do this together."

"Petra...I love how brave you are, but just remember that we are not against a mortal human." He said with a worried tone. 

I gave him a worried look, he was right, but that won't stop me from going with him. We pulled away, but we didn't separate, we looked deeply into our eyes. His shining emerald eyes met my brown chocolate eyes. We leaned closer and closer waiting for our lips to touch once again.

"KABOOM!!!!!!"

We quickly pulled away and looked at the sky, where Axel, Olivia and Jesse's father went. We saw a few fireworks forming, meaning it was time. It was us in an awkward silence, we were so close on sharing another kiss.

"Um..." I awkwardly said as I scratched the back of my neck.

"L-let's go, it is time." he coughed.

We looked around our surroundings and saw fewer guards, that shouldn't be a problem. I looked at Jesse and he nodded, we ran down to the enemies. The only thing we need to worry about is the faith we are going to meet.

Axel's Pov:

"Alright, you guys know what to do. We will wait for the signal."

We nodded and we later flew. I looked at Olivia and she pulled out her bow and arrow, I did the same. We shot some arrows down and lots of these ugly creatures died. We heard an alarm, meaning that they saw us, and that we have completed part off the plan.

We need to lead this sea of them further away so we can fight them. Jesse and Petra will go and fight Herobrine, while me Olivia and Jesse's father will take care of these.

"There's too many! And a lots of them are going back!" Cried Olivia.

"I know! Jesse's father? Can you please shoot fire so we can get them to follow us?"

He growled in response, but I know that was a clear yes. He stopped moving and turned around, he shoot huge fireballs and that made us get more attention. The sea of angry mobs grew bigger, meaning that we it was time to shoot the fire works.

Jesse's father turned and continued to fly on where we are suppose to lead them.

"Axel!" Olivia tried warned me.

"I know!"

I grabbed the fireworks that were in my pocket and a match I was saving. I lid the match with Jesse's father's red scales and quickly, before the fire discarded, I lit the fireworks and threw them.

The fireworks exploded, creating the signal for Jesse and Petra.

"Good job! Now lets get rid of these mobs!" Olivia said.
