Epilogue

Jesse's Pov:

Things had gotten crazy after the events with Herobrine was over. After a few weeks of traveling, we made it back to the little town where Petra, Axel and Olivia lived. The towns people seemed to have a grudge on father, I didn't knew why, that was until Petra told me. When the towns people saw Petra, Axel and Olivia, they bombed them with questions, saying like "where were you?" or "What happened?" or "Was the dragon cruel?" and stuff like that.

My friends didn't say much about what happened, but they did say what father was doing with them for these years. They even told them about Herobrine, but they stayed quiet on what he made me do to those poor people who didn't deserve to die.

When the whole thing was explained, the townspeople saw us as heroes and they celebrated with a huge party with lots of food and music. It was a fun night.

I got along with Petra's parents well, at last, we announced to them that me and Petra were a couple, and that we were keeping it a secret for quite a while. They were surprised by this, but they were thrilled that their daughter had someone like me, whatever that means.

Anyway once that was cleared, me and Father went back to our cozy cave, it hasn't been touch for a while and I have forgotten how warm it felt to be back. After about a few hours, the towns people found us and they took pictures of me and Father, they were also people called news reporters and they asked me questions with these weird sticks and metal objects they had. That was really pushing on my nerves and me and father began to feel very uncomfortable.

At least we weren't the only ones. Axel, Petra and Olivia were also hunted down by these people and ask them a bunch of questions. Let's just say, things had been going crazy for all of us.

Anyway, just like I promised Axel, I would help him with this "Propose" thing and hopefully Olivia says yes. Right now, i'm watching the two behind some bushes with Petra behind me. I told Petra about Axel's plan and she wanted to see if he succeeds, but I already have a feeling that he will.

Axel's Pov:

"Axel, this place is beautiful." Olivia's eyes shinned with the moon.

"Not as beautiful as you." I blushed as I scratched the back of my neck.

Olivia blushed too and she leaned on my shoulder, which made my heart beat faster than it's normal speed. We were in a mountain top and we saw the whole forest with a river and a waterfall on the view, we even saw our town from here.  It was the perfect spot.

I was so nervous on doing this, but I have to tell her at one point. Me and Jesse told Olivia's parents about it and they were thrilled about it. Olivia's mother and my mother helped me pick a ring, and let's just say, I hate shopping. 

I had the violet box on my pocket, I was waiting for the right time, I looked behind me and saw Jesse and Petra and they gave me a thumbs up. I knew that it was time for my move. So I stood up with Olivia and she looked at me confused when I grabbed her hands and made her face me. It's now or never.

"Olivia?" I asked nervously as she looked at me.

"Yes?" She gave me a concerned look.

"I-I h-have something to tell you..." I replied nervously, which made her give me a worried look.

"What's is it Axel? What's wrong?" She asked me.

"W-well, we been together for quite a while now...and our feelings for each other grew stronger ever since we began training..." I said nervously.

"Yes?" She was still worried.

"Well... Olivia..." I kneeled down and pulled out the violate box and opened it to revel a shining gold ring with a big diamond.

"W-will you marry me?"

Olivia covered her mouth and let a gasp as she let tears of joy fall.

"Axel, Yes! Of course I will marry you!"

I smiled and stood up. I slid the ring on her ring finger and she kissed me. I was filled with joy, soon our future will come.

Jesse's Pov:

Me and Petra smiled as we saw the two kiss. I knew Axel would succeed.

"I knew he could do it." I said with a smile.

"Yeah..." Petra leaned on my shoulder before she pecked my cheek.

"You brought your swimming gear right?" I asked and she nodded as she showed me her bikini, I had a good feeling about tonight.

"Good, let's go to the lake then."

Me and Petra walked in hand-in-hand, we planned on swimming tonight to relax on this beautiful night. We reached the lake after ten minutes, I removed my tank top and I turned around to give Petra some privacy while she put on her swim suit.

"You can look now."

I turned around and she was breath taking. She was wearing a dark blue bikini and the night light made her look even more beautiful. Her bandanna and the rest of her clothes were hanging on to a tree along with my tank top and her boots.

We went into the lake and boy was it cold, but I was already use to it, Petra however was not. Petra was shivering a bit, so I pulled her close to me to keep her warm.

"Let's swim for a little bit, that will warm you up."

She smiled and we swam together, the whole world disappeared around us as we felt the cool liquid touch us. We let out stress drown to the bottom of the lake and we let relaxation take it's place. We really needed it after all what we've been through.

After swimming a few minutes, we got tired and went to the river's bank. We were still in the cold water as Petra was resting her body to mine. We were both in love and we were now happy, it's saddening that all my living relatives were dead, but at least I had a new family. 

Speaking of relatives, I haven't read the note uncle gave me before he turned to ashes. So, me and Petra got out of the water and created a small fire to keep us warm. I brought the note with me and I left it near my tank top. I grabbed the note and sat down next to Petra who instantly leaned on my shoulder. 

I smiled and gave her a kiss, she kissed back. We pulled away and enjoyed ourselves. The letter was still rolled up, so I opened the letter and read the piece of paper. Then suddenly, I felt both joy and fear.

I knew that this was far from over, but I at least know what's going to happen, and i'm not alone. I have my friends and a certain someone who I can call family.

"Jesse? What is it?"

I smiled and look at her.

"We are still not done, we are still in war with darkness."

"What?!"

"Relax Petra, I know we can do this. But now, we have to travel to find someone,"

"Who?"

I stood up and looked at her with a wise smile. I held my had for her to grab it so I can help her get up.

"We are going to find, my twin sister..."
