Petra's Pov:
I don't know what is going on with me. Everytime I see Jesse I would feel a warm feeling and my heart skip a few beats.
"Am I.. falling in love?"
Jesse is very special. He was raised by a dragon. He is not afraid of anything (Except humans.) He is goofy. And he is kinda cute.
"CUTE!? Did I really just think that about Jesse?"
"Hey Petra?"
I turn around and saw Jesse. I realized was outside the cave.
"Do you need help going back home?" he asked me.
My heart skipped a beat when he offered me to take me home.
"S-sure." I accepted while I blushed a light pink color.
We started to walk to town. We were silent on most of the way. The silence was finally broken when Jesse asked me this: " Hey Petra?"
"Yea?" I responded
"Can I asked you a question?"
"Sure. Fire away."
"Can you explain this feeling I have? I don't know what this feeling is."
"Sure. How do you feel this feeling?"
"I feel strange...in a good way. My heart keeps beating at a fast pace at one person. I feel my cheeks heat up and I feel like I want to be near the person forever... Your the person that makes me feel that feeling.
I turn red when he explained his feeling.
"Jesse. That feeling is called love."
"Love?"
"Yes. Love."
We stopped walking and everything went into an awkward silence. We both locked eyes. I stared at his emerald eyes. His eyes tinkled. Like looking into real emeralds. We both got closer. We started to close our eyes and put our arms around each other. Our lips were about to touch until Jesse said : "Um I think we should continue."
"Y-yeah." I replied
I was a bit upset. I almost had my first kiss with Jesse. I guess he wants to save the kiss for the right moment.
"Petra?" he snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah J-" I was interrupted when I felt something crushed into my lips.
His lips. I was shocked and my eyes were wide open. But after a few moment I closed my eyes and kissed back. I rapped my arms around his neck while his went around my waist. I felt like time stopped around us, as if time wanted our moment to last forever. My lips moist with Jesse's. After a few minutes we finally pulled away from our sweet kiss. We both blushed and smiled as I kissed his cheek. We hugged as the world stopped moving around us.
"Jesse?"
"Yes Petra?"
"I love you."
"I love you too." He smiled as he pulled me into another kiss and pulled away.
"Will you be my girlfriend Petra?"
"I love to be your girlfriend Jesse."
We pulled away from the hug and continued to walk to town. While we held hands.
