When Is There Hope For Love

Mindy's pov:
I walk into my vet office, as i walk into my office there is a dog in the waiting room that's been pooping blood. I take the dog into my observation room and examine him after some time of examination i deduce that the dog has heartworms.
I give the owner some advice on how to prevent the heart worms and some meds to get rid of them and a free sample of some prevention pills for when the heartworms are taken care of.

As the day progresses i get four to seven more patients and some exotic patients then my shifts over and i get to go home. I smile as i walk out the doors its my first day going home to a complete home. I'm so happy to be able to talk to my mom after so long of being alone after school and everything. It'll be good be talking with her we have so much to talk about kinda, mostly about my dad.

When i got home i walked and was greeted by kevin who gave me a kiss on the cheek i smiled and kissed his cheek back.
Mindy "do you know where my mom is at right now?"
Kevin "she should be in the kitchen she was cooking supper for us all for when you got home."
Mindy "okay thanks hun."
Kevin "no problem sweetheart anytime."
Mindy "ill be in the kitchen talking about my dad if you need me."
Kevin "alright."

As i walk in the kitchen mom is humming and slightly dancing as she cooks it, it smells like lasagna.

I smile as i sneak up and yell 'boo' she jumps then turns around with a smile on her face. I smile and laugh a bit at her.
Mindy "i got you scared good."
Mom "yes you did."
Mindy "now for the reason i came in here i have a few questions."
Mom "okay ask away what are your questions?"
Mindy "first when will supper be done I'm starving from all the patients i had to work on today second how do you keep your humor and last i want to know more about dads death if you are willing to talk about it?"
Mom "okay one at a time please for the first in about five minutes for the second i don't really know and the third I'm not sure sweety if your ready to actually hear the truth are you sure?"
Mindy "yes."
Mom "okay."
Mindy "well I'm waiting?"
Mom "alright first off I'm not sure if your dad is actually dead he kind of disappeared a few years after you were born you know that but the way he disappeared was with little trace he was in an accident much like the one kevin went through he was mugged and then a few months after being in a coma he just vanished."
Mindy "really?"
Mom "yes. Sweety its true no one knows what happened to him."
Mindy "oh okay.......i uh.....always thought he died......."
Mom "im sorry sweety i am always hoping he one day returns but it seems he may never return.

Aarons pov:
I watched them get married i was there in the hospital i helped to heal the boy in surgery i have always been there for her she just never knew it.

Ill come back just when they need me till then I'm going to keep my distance. Unless I'm already needed. I don't remember much. Its all a big blur. After the accident i lost most of my memory. I only remembered a name and a face. Her face the face of my only love. She is so beautiful. I needed to find her but when i did she didn't seem to need me. I kept my distance for so long. Now i think its time to come back to them. But they won't accept me. Will they?

Ambers pov:
There was a knock at the door i went to check it after kevin called my name i never will forget who was standing there.
Kevin "amber your needed now please?"
Amber "coming."
I went and there he stood i couldn't believe it.
Amber "how? What? When? Why?"
I couldn't speak my mind was blank.
Aaron "hey I've...... decided to come back where is mindy......... where is my sweet little girl...... where is our daughter?"
Amber "Mindy sweety get in here."
Mindy "coming mom."
Aaron "honey I'm so sorry i left i couldn't remember anything it was all a blur I've been regaining all my mind this whole time being away."
Amber "I'm just glad your back."
Mindy "whats the ..............."

Mindy's pov:

Mindy "whats the ..............matter........"
I couldn't believe my eyes my dad was in the door he was alive he was here i couldn't help it tears rolled down my face as i ran up and hugged him mom joined my and kevin kinda just stood there with a weird look on his face then it hit him who the guy was or something like that.

After a long catch up mom, me, kevin, and dad all sat down and ate dinner dad was quite funny.
Dad "hey kid did i tell you about the trip to the mountains i took that got me the most important memory i had back?"
Mindy "no but I'm betting you will right?"
Dad "maybe tomorrow I'm tired and i need to catch on all the lost time I've put your mom through."
Mindy "okay me and kevin will be in bed a bit later i need to talk to him."
Mom "don't stay up too late tomorrow is friday and the first day of summer but you still have your job you need to wake up for."
Dad "you have a job? I've missed so much"
Mindy "yes you have dad its been so long."
Mom "yes yes he has indeed."
Dad "alright goodnight y'all I'm hitting the hay."
Mom "me too night mindy."
Mindy "night mom night dad."
Mom/dad "night kev"
Kevin "night mister and misses"
Mom and dad went to their room and locked the door i can only imagine no bad get those thoughts out of your head Mindy.

As me and kevin sat on the couch we turned on a movie on the FX channel it was some love movie which i laughed at to myself while kevin looked really into it.

Mindy "hey kevin you think my mom is happy my dad is back or do you think she is having trouble understanding the fact that he's back?."
Kevin "i think both."
Mindy "i do too hey hun you love me right?"
Kevin "yes of course i do why are you asking?"
Mindy "how much do you love me?"
Kevin "well honestly mindy my love for you knows no bounds i love you like small children believe santas real i love you more than a dung beetle loves shit i will do anything for you just say what you want or need me to do and ill do it i love you more than life i will die in an instance for you my diamond."
Mindy "and i the same for you my prince."
Kevin "why did you need ask?"
Mindy "i took the test to see if i could have kids right before i got home."
Kevin "and?"
Mindy "i can't conceive children hun."
Kevin "oh.......uhm.......i.......ugh....."
Mindy "i knew it you don't love me."
Kevin "no babe that's not it at all i just.....im...thinking....of the other.....uh....options.....for.....children....like adoption.."
Mindy "oh okay .......i thought you ..........wouldn't...love.....me...anymore....."
Kevin "no nothing will ever make me not love you. Nothing understood."
Mindy "I'm glad."
I smiled and kissed him on the lips for a good twelve minutes then turned the movie off as we kept kissing i broke away as i took deep breaths.
Mindy "lets go to the bed."
Kevin "yeah."
We got up and walked to my room and before we even hit the bed i was kissing kevin again this time with more passion as i felt his hands wandering around my body. I fell asleep against his body warmth against each others skin.
