When Is There Hope For Love

Mindy's pov:
I wake up to the kids and Kevin taking about something I walk out of the room me and Kevin share and get a blast of sweet smelling goodness I don't wait to ask I walk into the kitchen and see my family sitting down and eating it is Saturday so I don't have work I sit at the family table I bought on Friday along with the other the kids.

I look over at one of my sons and smile very warmly then I give the same warm smiles to the other kids and Kevin, Kevin smiles back and I giggle.

Susan "mommy am I pretty?"
Lizzy "what kind of question is that sis?"
Mindy "of course your pretty Susan your one of the most beautiful children in the world you want to know who the other ones are your brothers and sisters all of you are the most beautiful children ever."
Roderick "thanks mom"
Mandy "mommy do you love me?"
Mindy "of course I do my darling I love you with all my heart and soul as well as your brothers and sisters I love you all to the ends of time there is nothing i wouldn't do for any of my kids."

It's been a week and I know the kids are Roderick is nine Susan is eight Lizzy is six Kyle is seven and Mandy is twelve.

After I had gotten the kids home I turned from being that loving person they first saw to a mom that worked all day and didn't say much when she got home but I will change that this time I just want to have the kids feel loved as much as they are loved in themselves.

Mindy " okay kids who wants to go to the park and hang out playing soccer or football or just playing tag or something like that I'll even race you kids though I'm sure I'll lose cause I'm getting older in age."
Mandy "I'll race that sound like fun mom don't you think so dad?"
Kevin "Sure it's good to exercise."
Mindy "yup your absolutely right honey!!!"
Kevin "heheh you seem very chipper today what's gotten In to you"
Mindy "well I have my family and they won't ever leave me."

Sammy was waiting to get out of jail he was released in a few weeks and he planned to take care of business.

Kevin "nope none of us will sweety."
Mandy "exactly mother."
Kyle "I wanna race Susan and Lizzy by myself."
Susan "yeah."
Lizzy "sounds good to me"
Mindy "that's fine y'all can race and I'll be the judge we will have all you kids race in teams how's about that?"
Kyle "that's fine with me mommy."

Sam had been planning Kevin's death the entire time he was in the prison it and been five years since he got In the prison.

Mindy stood up and walked the kids to the car and let Kevin drive the ones she could not hold in her car since they both had a car and Kevin's was nicer but she didn't care her car was her own and she loved it just not as much as she loved her family or Kevin.

Mindy "so Roderick Kyle Mandy and Lizzy why did you all choose my car over your father's?"
Mandy "cause I wanted to hang with you mom and I dont know dad kinda has a thing where he goes over the speed limit and it scares me a little."
Kyle "I live my mom and I didn't want to take susans daddy time away"

They all got to the park and Mindy took the little ones out there seats and lead them all into the park Mandy kept by Mindy smiling and looking around everywhere like it was her first time ever in a place like this.

Mindy "Mandy have you ever been outside the foster home?"
Mandy "no mama I have not your the first person that has ever even attempted to adopt me."

Mandy looks down a little sad and a bit broken-hearted thinking that Mindy would bring her back to the foster home once she found out Mandy's little habit of being a bit out of control off her medicine she took at the foster home.

Mindy smiles and with her motherly instincts gets an Idea of what's in Mandys mind.
Mindy "it's okay Mandy sweety I'll never not love you and don't worry we will come to the park this weekend if you kids would like that it'll be a bit of a family routine to go to different parks every weekend."
Mandy "it's not that mom I have a very bad behavior when I am off my medicine it's why people always return me to the foster home it is why I'll never be able to stay with you im sorry I can't live with you with you knowing this about me? Right?"
Mindy "if course you can still stay with us Mandy it'll be the best part of the deal we keep you forever and don't worry about your behaviour issues we will get you medicine for it as soon as possible but it'll be the good kind the grown up kind."
