Mindy's pov:
"Wake up sweety" another day for of my mom getting me up
"I'm up mom" after stretching and fighting my eyes to stay open I finally get out of bed, walking over to my closet I pick out a nice pair of skinny jeans and a tee-shirt that go together pretty well. I get dressed and head down the stairs to my mom, she made my breakfast again.

Kevin's pov:
I wake up to my alarm clock buzzing alone in my house, my parents are always at work earlier than I wake up and it has become pretty much routine for me now. I get up and go to my dresser grabbing a pair of shorts and a shirt throw them on and walk out to our kitchen where I get me a bowl of cereal and then start jogging to my bus stop I know she's on my bus but she said to leave her alone so I will let her be at least till lunch comes.

Mindy's pov:
After I say bye to my mom I head to the school bus stop hopefully I'll have a car next month on my 18th birthday that'd be nice I've passed my driving test so I have a licence I just need a car, but til then it's the bus that takes me to school. The bus arrives after about 10 minutes I get on and head to the back of the bus sitting alone. After two or three more stops, he gets on, sitting with his friends. The bus arrives at school with enough time to get to class. My first period is worse than usual people ganged up on me and bullied me for twenty minutes of class, the teacher just sat at her desk ignoring the whole thing. I feel like I should just end it but then I think about my mom and how bad she feels that I never had a father to raise me, he left when I was born didn't even care to try to be a dad to the baby my mom had, if I have to put up with the bulling for the rest of my life just so my mom was happy then I would. I don't even try for my second period I just sit there and think to myself. It would be better if people would either just ignore me or plain acted like i didn't exist well one person out of them all has said something nice but I blew him off.If he ever comes to me then I'll give him a chance but I'm pretty sure that I made him not like me. After second and then third I went to lunch I didn't try to rush there this time just walked there normally, I got my lunch paid for it then sat at my usual spot. After a few minutes Kevin showed up
K "hey I know you said to leave you alone, but I can't sorry so will go out on a date with me? or is it gonna be the same response?"
m "no no I I'll give you a chance just where is this going to be?"
K "well if you really need to know I was hoping the movies would be okay I know it seems cliche but I guess that I like cliche themes."
M "the movies are perfect but which one are we going to see?"
K " well you can pick from either the new avengers or the new twilight I don't care which"
M "what about the new fast and furious?"
K "I'm sorry not since Paul walker died."
M "please I want to see it but my moms always too busy with work."
K "fine if you really want to I guess it's fine I'll watch it."
M "thanks."
K "I know I just got here but I must go I can't be here too long say I'll pick you up at your house at 7:30 that okay?"
M "yeah that's okay go hangout with your friends if you want to so badly I I understand."
Kevin walked away back to his little group of friends leaving me alone to think to myself again it's impossible to tell what goes on in other peoples heads, but I'm pretty sure he either truly does like me or it's some stupid bet that involves talking to the quiet girl (me) and seeing how well he could trick me into liking him but if it turns out to be he truly does like me then I'll be happier than I have been in my whole life.
After lunch ended I went through the rest of the day thinking about Kevin coming to pick me up if he even wanted to. After school at home I told mom about my plans and Kevin and she was okay with it.

Kevin's pov:
I hope she doesn't think it's a Joke or that I am doing it for a bet I don't want her to just dump me but being the quarter back for the football team I need to keep my reputation as high as possible and until I figure out how to explain us to everyone I'm just going to keep with my friends I'll talk to her at lunch before they arrive but once they're here I'll leave I know she'll hate it but I just need her to trust me as best as she can and I'll figure everything out. I walk up to my friends and instantly it seems as though I've failed to be seceretive because Samuel or Sammy as most know him is the first to point out that I was taking to her
S "so Kev why are you talking to the Goth bitch you she isn't popular you trying to ruin your Rep or just trying to get some from her because you it isn't like you don't already have half the females at the school already falling head over heels for you"
K "shut up Sammy I just wanted to talk to her is that such a fucking big deal cause if it is I am sure couch will will be happy to kick you off the team for patranazation of a teammate"
S "no no there isn't a problem krv promise just asking and letting you know she Is still the emo goth no it all bitch like she's always been"
K "call her a bitch again and I'll show you why I I'm quarter back and why I don't need to lift weights"
S "is that a threat kev because you know how I am about threats"
K "yeah Sammy it is a threat and ie that I ain't gonna stand down from"
S "alright you want to see how much of a bitch she is meet me after school and we'll see who's better"
K "not today I have places to be things to do tomorrow I will kick your ass"
S "fine by me"
Sammy's pov
Ill just follow him it isn't that hard then I'll see what's so important that he won't fight especially over something he likes
Kevin's pov
K "good now if you'll be so kind as to shut up we can actually get through lunch peacefully"
S "alright whatever"
After that nobody spoke at the table and since I was pissed I didn't eat anything so we just sat there the rest of lunch and scolwed at each other when the bell for forth rang I walked in secrecy behind Mindy to our next class since the only class we don't share is third it's not that hard to follow her and be normal Mindy's pov
I knew he followed me to our next class it isn't hard to tell when he's right behind me the whole time but I ignore it because I overheard there conversation at least bits and pieces like the way they were calling me a Goth bitch and that football is more important than any distractions but it's okay I've gotten used to being put down guess after school don't have to worry about him picking me up if I'm such a goth bitch and his football buds are more important than Anything else. But either way I never cared I figured I was nothing to him. After class he followed me to the bus and sat down a few seats from me close enough that he was watching me the whole time till I got off guees he was trying to see if I said anything to him
Kevin's pov
I knew she heard at least some of the conversation considering she ignored me the rest of the day and didn't even acknowledge me on the bus it's okay I'll still pick her up I don't break a promise and I promised to take her to the movies
Mindy's pov
I got off still ignoring Kevin I didn't care why he called me a Goth bitch but it's apparent that he won't be taking me to the movies. When I walked in the door my mom asked the question I knew she would
Mom "honey did he ask you again?"
M "yes mom he asked me but then after he asked he went and talked to his friends about how I'm a Goth bitch and that football is more than anything else"
Mom "really I'm so sorry honey did you hear the whole conversation or just pieces?"
M "I heard enough to know the truth."
Mom "that is my what I asked you."
M "no mom I didn't hear the whole conversation but that don't matter the fact that he called my a dumb Goth bitch is what's matters!"
Mom "are you sure that it was him that said that or was it one of his friends?"
M "I don't know but he was stilled pissed so it don't matter"
Mom "yes it does if you aren't sure it was him then it could have been someone else but enough about that when he asked you did he say whether he was like going to pick you up or anything like that?"
M "no mom he just asked then when he got his answer walked off to his friends."
Mom "well then I'm sorry that the only person to ask you out was such a bad person"
I know I lief about him asking me to go to the movies but since he won't be coming to get it isn't important for my mom to know
My "it's okay mom let's just eat and forget about it all"
I was starting to get depressed again so I needed a distraction
Mom "okay sweety what would you like for supper"
M "if would be so kind as to make me some tereakyi rice that would be great"
Mom "as you like my dear"
She walks off and cooks me my rice after we eat and talk about my school work and my grades I walk up to my room it's about 4:45 so I decide to read one of my favorite book series but then
Mom "hey Mindy sweety there is someone at the door for you and it looks like a boy in some nice clothe too what do you want me to say to him"
M "tell him I'll be done in a minute"
Mom "okay sweety"

Kevins pov:
I was at her house at least I thought it was hers the lady that answered sure fit her description of her mom as I knocked I heard some loud speaking and then the woman answered
Mindy's mom "Hello sorry she will be down in a minute may I ask who you are and what you ate doing Here while we wait for her"
Kevin "sure I'm here to take Mindy to the movies I told her I would be here around seven and it about six fifty so I am a little early and I am Kevin you are"
I extend my hand to her to shake
My "Oh me I'm Mindy's mom nice to meet you kevin Mindy told me a little bit about you"
K "Oh really I didn't think that she would tell anyone that we were just going out huh that's interesting"
We shake hands as we wait for mindy
Mindy's pov:
I get a little worked up as I run to my closet and did for some nice clothe I settle for a flower dress and pink shorts as I walk downstairs I listen to them talk I don't hear anything bad so I walk up to the door and see it really is him
M "hey Kevin didn't expect you till at least seven twenty"
K "Oh well I came here early so we didn't have to wait at the movies and you look lovely in that dress those flower fit the shorts perfectly now will you please come with me to the movies"
M "yes I will come to movies bye mom" I give my mom a hug and then walk out the door Kevin doesn't do anything except home the door to his car open for me. When we get to the theatre he buys the tickets and the we go to the appropriate room and choose some more or less private seats as the room is not very full. When the movie starts I feel Kevin slip his arm around my shoulder and pull me closer to him I like the feeling of him wanting me closer it makes my chest feel warm so I let him and I lay my head on his shoulder. About half way through the movie I notice that some of his friends have been watching us. Kevin doesn't notice them because he is too busy watching dawayne Johnson and vin diesel fight off a tarorrist but I see the way they glare and talk amongst themselves I fear what will happen but I ignore them and continue to watch the movie. After the movie is over I look over and see they aren't there so I look around and they aren't anywhere so I stand up next to Kevin as he gives me a tight hug and looks down at me. I look up at him and blush then gently push against his chest he let's me go and I walk toward the exit Kevin following close behind.
Sammy's pov:
Me and my friends wait outside the theatre for Kevin and that Damn Goth bitch we will teach him not to hang around people like her
Kevin's pov:
As we walk outside Sammy and a group of his friends walk up to me and Mindy I walk in front of her and stare at sammy
K "what are you doing here Sammy"
S "Oh us me and the boys decided to watch the newest fast and furious is there a problem there kev"
K "yes there is you knew I would be here didn't you"
Sammy's friend make a little circle in front of me and Mindy as I step more in front her in a protective way
K "leave Sammy"
