*Harry's POV*
So last night after the concert, the girls had that fan, Marissa, come up on stage and I am not going to lie, she's pretty cute. After the concert we hung out with her and every time she would speak to me, I would blush and I would stumble on my words every time I spoke to her. Anyway, I learned that she's only a year younger than me and only lives a couple houses down from mine.
"Whatcha thinkin' about?" Jamie asked sitting next to me on the couch.
Dang it. I forgot that she was here. We're sort of having some daddy daughter time since today's her only day off for awhile and we haven't hung out in awhile since she's been busy and has her own place.
"Nothing." I lied.
"You're thinking about Marissa, aren't you?" Jamie asked.
"No, why would you think that?" I asked in disbelief.
"By the way you were acting last night, you so like her." Jamie replied.
"Okay, so maybe I was thinking about her. So what?" I asked.
"You two exchanged numbers, you should text her." Jamie suggested.
"No way!" I said way to quickly.
"Why not?" Jamie asked.
"She might think I'm weird. And she might not feel the same way." I admitted.
"Trust me, but the way she was looking at you, she definitely likes you." Jamie replied.
"How do you know that?" I asked quickly.
"What do you mean how do I know that? I have eye's and I can clearly saw it in her eyes when you guys were talking." Jamie explained and I didn't respond.
"DAD! DON'T JUST SIT THERE LIKE A LUMP ON A LOG! TEXT HER BEFORE I TEXT HER MYSELF!" I yelled.
He picked up his phone, looked at it for a second and put it back down again.
"I can't do this." Dad said before getting up and going to his room, shutting the door behind him.
"What'd I say?" I mumbled to myself.
*Four hours later*
"What's wrong, is everything okay? We got your 911." Louis said with a panic as he entered the house.
"Okay, first of all how did you even get in here? The door was locked?" I asked in confusion.
"We know where the spare key is, now what's the emergency? And where's Harry?" Liam asked.
"Um, that's why I called you guys over here." I replied.
"What's up?" Zayn asked.
I called Zayn, Niall, Liam, and Louis over to try to help me understand what's going on with my dad. They know him better than anybody.
"You see, last night when we were hanging out with Marissa, I noticed that my dad liked her because he was blushing and stumbling on his words and I noticed Marissa liked him back because of the way she was looking at him. So I confronted dad today about it and I told him he should text her. And I finally convinced him he just picked up his phone, stared at it for a good second, and said 'I can't do this' and locked himself in his room for the past four hours and I have no idea what's wrong with him." I explained and rambled on and on about nonsense before one of the boys finally stopped me.
"Jamie, Jamie, slow down." Niall said.
"Sorry." I replied.
"It's okay, just take a breath and let us process what you said." Liam told me.
