*Annemarie's POV*

*Four Months Later*

In the past four months, the girls and I finished our tour and now we're making a new album. We are currently traveling a little bit for some interviews and for some shows, but it's nothing major. Our new album is actually almost finished, so we'll be going on tour soon.

"ANNEMARIE, THEY'RE HERE! COME DOWN! WE'RE ALL HUNGRY!" Emily yelled up to me.

We decided to invite our parents over some dinner. We haven't really had a good family dinner with them in a really long time.

"ANNEMARIE, LET'S GO!" Emily yelled.

"I'M COMING DOWN NOW, RELAX!" I yelled back.

I got up from my bed and basically ran downstairs, where not only the girls and our parents, but so was Simon.

"Oh my gosh! What did we do?" I said in a panic.

"Relax, you girls didn't do anything. Alex invited me over." Simon replied.

"Oh," Was all that came out my mouth.

I feel like they're hiding something, but I can't put my finger on it. Speaking of hiding something, I woke up this morning thinking that today was important, but I have no idea what is. Alex, Emily, Jamie and Jessica kept whispering to each other all day, but I don't know why.

"Well, I think we should get going." Jamie said after a moment of awkward silence.

"Get going where?" I asked in confusion.

"Back to my house." My father replied.

"I thought we were having dinner here?" I asked with even more confusion.

"We were, but we decided to have it over there instead." Jessica told me.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because it can." Zayn replied.

I just shrugged my shoulders and started towards the front door, but just as I was about to exit, I thought of something.

"If we're going back to my parents, then why did everyone come over here?" I asked in confusion.

"We wanted to see the confusion on your face." Mom says straight out.

"Wow, thanks." I say sarcastically as I walk out to the car.

*Twenty Minutes Later*

I am currently very angry. It usually takes like around five minutes to get back to my parents house, but Jamie's driving. Let's just say she wanted to take the scenic route. We are finally just pulling up to my parents house and everyone else is here. Probably because they took the faster route.

"Finally," I sighed with relief.

"Okay I get it. I took the scenic route and made you very angry, didn't mean to upset you." Jamie replied.

I just stared at her while I exited the vehicle. All five of us walked up to the front door together. For some reason the inside looked dark, but they could be in the backyard. Who knows.

"Why is it so dark in there?" I asked in confusion as I went to go open the front door.

"Wait!" Alex yelled before smacking my hand away from the handle.

"What?" I whined, jumping a little bit by the sudden volume.

"Let us go in first." Alex told me.

"Why?" I questioned in confusion.

"Don't question it." Was all Jessica said before all four of them quickly made their way through the front door.

I stood there for a moment in confusion before walking through the front door. It was pitch black in the house which is very confusing. Anyway, as soon as I walked in and shut the door. Immediately after I shut the door, something happened that kind of caught me off guard.

The lights went on and a crowd of people yelled, "SURPRISE!"

I just looked at all of them with surprise and confusion. Why are they yelling surprise?

"You don't remember what today is, don't you?" Dad said.

I slowly shook my head no.

"I honestly can't believe you don't remember your own birthday. I mean I get if it's one of the girls or the rest of us, but seriously. You forgot your own birthday." Simon said, causing us all to laugh.

"I knew there was something important today." I said with a sudden realization of what they were saying, which just so happened to cause them to laugh again.

After a brief moment of silence, Harry spoke up.

"Well don't just stand there. Come and join your party." Harry said, which caused us all to laugh before I joined the party.

Everyone went back to their own conversations as I went around saying hello to as many people as I could. I honestly can't believe that I forgot my own birthday. I can't believe the girls would go  through this much trouble for me.
