What they do to calm their son/daughter down:
Sylar-
Sylar will pick up the baby and hum a song. If that didn't work, gently rocking him back and forth tended to work out. And in the rate scenario both failed, he gave up and consulted you.
Peter-
Peter would gently pick up his little girl in his arms. Ever so softly, he would rock her back and forth and lightly tap her back with his finger. Knowing her father was there and watching her, your little girl settled down and went back to sleep.
Hiro-
Hiro knew what kids liked, he sometimes seemed to be a kid himself. He would get out his favorite old comic books and began reading. Even though the baby didn't understand, the familiar sound of Hiro's voice and accent tended to calm her down.
Mohinder-
Mohinder was a baby expert. Having studied medical briefly he learned that babies are unique and have weird ways of calming down. Your sons weird way of calming down was chewing on Mohinder's shirt. Worked without fail.
