**This was requested by @OneRetardedSeal Hope you enjoy! Sorry it's short, I tried! And sorry it took a while I don't update this book often! Trigger warning for mention of suicide but nothing happens. **

One thing you did not expect for your relaxing evening was for an old friend to show up. You had made plans with yourself to watch movies, curl up in blankets, and eat very unhealthy snacks. It was your Saturday night tradition.

But, Gabriel Gray decided to stop on by and ruin the night. When you opened your door, you didn't expect Gabriel to be standing there. You really didn't expect him to be soaked head to toe in a dark liquid.

"Gabriel, what happened?" You gasp, hesitantly opening the door wider. You didn't know if he was in an accident and whoever he was with was injured or if he had became a murderer.

Gabriel just stood in the door way, his breathes labored and heavy. He knew what he had done, Sylar had left his body for now. The news was really sinking in, his emotions were beginning to take over.

"My.. my... my mother..." He muttered, taking a couple steps closer to you. Nervously, you opened your door a little wider. He stepped inside and you closed the door, motioning to a stool at your counter.

"What happened to your mother, Gabriel?" You ask him, getting out a rag to help clean the liquid, obviously blood, from him. You went into your room and got some of your brothers old clothes, it was lucky you randomly got stuck with them.

"She... she um.... she killed herself with a pair of scissors..." Gabriel lied, hoping would buy it. He really needed some emotional help at the moment and telling someone he killed his mother was not the way to get it. You gave him a sympathetic look, beginning to dab his face with a towel.

"I'm so sorry Gabe, why did she do that?" You ask, trying to get him to talk it out a little. Gabriel took another labored breath, closing his eyes. The cool soothing touch of the towel seemed to help with his nerves. For the first time in months, he felt like someone actually cared for him.

"I asked her about my birth mother, she obviously didn't like that conversation.." Gabriel murmured, his voice cracking as he spoke. You set the clothes on the counter, finishing up wiping his forehead.

"I'm so sorry, why don't you go shower and get cleaned up and put these clothes on. They may be a little too small but it's the biggest size my brother had. After words, I will actually hug you and we can talk or watch something. Your choice." You tell him, keeping your tone as soft and calm as you possibly could. Gabriel nodded, taking the clothes and walking to the bathroom to shower.

While he was showering, you cleaned the blood from the stool he had sat on. You also cleaned the blood from your front door, when he knocked on the wood some blood had clung to the surface.

Gabriel emerged from the bathroom wearing only the pants you had given him. You froze, astounded by everything he had become. When you last saw him, which was fourteen years ago, he had been incredibly scrawny. You didn't know what to say, you wanted him to put a shirt on but you also want him to never put a shirt on.

"Sorry." He told you, pulling a shirt on over his body. You shrugged, not upset he had decided to go shirtless for a while. He wasn't bad looking shirtless.

"No no, it's okay. Please, sit on the couch it's more comfy than the stool." You insist, motioning to the couch as you sat down. He saw beside you, surprisingly pulling you into a hug right away.

You hugged him back, running your hands through his dark, wet hair. You rubbed his back, feeling him cry against you. The entire night was spent awake, at least until five AM. Gabriel refused to let go of you and you didn't want to let go of him, so you two ended up watching movies until you slept. He felt better after that, comforted after accidentally killing his mother.
