Jen Tovar Leon's POV

I'm still unaware of the story making its way around the school.

Something supposedly happened on our anniversary date that none of us seem to know about..

And we're the ones in the relationship!!

I've asked people who won't let out any information and it's honestly starting to freak me out.

"It'll be fine, I'm sure it's nothing but a stupid rumor." Calum says to me as we walk hand-in-hand to the cafeteria for lunch.

"But what if it's something huge that makes everyone look at us differently. I mean look! They already are!" I say, gesturing to the entire table of nerds who're gawking at us with an uncertain expression.

"Even if it is something, we both know we have each other and that's all that matters." He smiles. "I'll pay for your lunch, sit down." He winks.

I don't know if it's a good thing that I like him so much. I don't know if I'm ready to fall in love, hell, I don't even know that I'm ready to move any further along in my relationship with Calum, but I should probably stay out of my head and let my relationship work its way out.

I decide to finally discover what these stupid rumors are about once and for all.

I walk to the nerd table with a swing in my hips as I sit down next to a guy with his nose buried in a book about everything that went wrong with the titanic.

Why would you spend your extra time learning that, seriously?

"Excuse me?" I say, touching his arm. "Do you happen to be aware of the rumors spreading about me and my boyfriend?"

"Y-yes." A nervous looking nerd says.

"Cool. So what are they?" I say, practically glaring holes through his eyes with my catching gaze.

"Um, s-something ab-about you k-kissing your waiter at your d-dinner d-date."

Huh, interesting.

"Who started it?" I ask impatiently.

He looks hesitant, but after I cock my head to the side, giving him a curious yet invasive look, he cracks.

"Tracy." He sighs, immediately going back to his book.

Wow, interesting...

"Hey Tracy" I say pleasantly, as I sit back down at my own popular table with Calum.

"Jen" she nods.

"Where'd you hear about me kissing the waiter at Calum and I's anniversary date?"

"I saw it." She barks.

"Where and when?" Calum asks, looking at me from the corner of his eye and smirking.

"At that stupid new place in town. And on your anniversary of course."

"I didn't kiss any waiters." I say, defensively, almost ready to laugh at this girl's motives to start rumors about untrue things.

"I watched you." She smirks.

"That's kind of funny because Jen was with me at all times. And I didn't see her kissing anyone but me." Calum says defensively, holding my hand from under the table.

"Whatever you guys say. You don't have to pretend to be in this picture perfect relationship, that's probably got the most flaws in the world in it." She says calmly, picking at her nails.

"You're just jealous because you don't have a relationship of your own." I start.

"Oh really?" She says, pulling the random guy from next to her into a detailed make out. And trust me, you can see everything..

"Ew cut it out you guys." Calum covers his eyes, "Jen's right. You've got no relationship of your own so you've got to make ours seem imperfect to make yourself look and feel better. But the real reason you're spreading all these rumors is because you're jealous, not because they're true. So if you could stop causing unreasonable problems and get on with your own life, not fussing around with our relationship, which you have no business being in, that'd be greatly appreciated. Have a nice day!" Calum smiles warmly, taking my hand and leading me out into the hallway.

"You're safe now." He says softly, "do I get a kiss for that or what?"

And at this moment, I'm sure I'm falling in love with him. I'm gonna try and take time on my ride though.

ANYWAY HI GUYS IVE MISSED YOU I HOPE YOU DONT HATE ME I WENT TO SAN FRANCISCO AFTER VIDCON AND THEN I WENT TO MY BEACH HOUSE IN NC AND THEN I OBSESSED OVER AND BINGE WATCHED STITCHERS FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT AFTER THAT!! Yep that's my fun life, ily all, stay strong babies❤️
