(LMAO SURPRISE BITCHES)
I really wanna surprise Jen for our 1 month anniversary but I have no idea what to do.
It's today so I don't have too much time to plan it.
I know, I probably should've started planning earlier but you know, I'm Calum sooo..
I'll text my friend Jace for ideas.
Me: bro
Jacey Wacey: Tf you want?
Me: Idk what to do for our 1 month
Jacey Wacey: get her flowers and chocolates
Me: doesn't every guy do that?
Jacey Wacey: I wasn't done. Take her out for a nice dinner too.
Me: where should I take her?
Jacey Wacey: go to that new steakhouse downtown. I've heard their food is killer
Me: alright, thanks man. You were a big help
Jacey Wacey: anytime. Except for 11:00 PM-1:00 PM cause I'm sleeping.
Me: why am I friends with you?
Jacey Wacey: if I were you, I'd ask myself that every day.
I chuckle to myself but don't respond.
I decide to go out and get the flowers and chocolates really quickly, since they're easy.
I jump in my car and turn the radio up as HeavyDirtySoul by Twenty Øne Piløts comes on. (Leelaaaaa where are youuu)
I nod my head to the beat, tapping on the steering wheel all the way to the flower shop.
"Hello, how may I help you?" The kind old man at the counter asks.
"I need to get my girl flowers for our 1 month anniversary." I explain.
"What are her favourite flowers?"
Uhhhh..was I supposed to know that??
Suddenly I think back to something she posted on her Instagram.
"Just one second." I say, stepping out of the way and taking my phone out of my back pocket, opening Instagram.
On her profile, she has a picture of white roses from this flower shop with the caption 'my favourite flower💞😊💐🌹'
I walk back up to the counter as nobody else is in line. I show the man the picture and he nods, chuckling before speaking in a low voice.
"You have a rare one. Keep her for as long as you can. Not many fall for the white rose."
I nod, only half understanding what he'd said.
I go to the chocolate store across the street, greeting the 20 something lady at the counter.
"What's the occasion?"
"My girlfriend and I's 1 month." I smile.
"Oooo exciting! I know just the thing, unless you had anything specific in mind.."
"Nope, just let me try a piece first."
She pulls out a red box from the back and opens it, showing a display of orange cream filled, caramel, nut, peanut butter, and regular milk chocolate.
She gives me a piece from the display case in front of me.
"This is the regular milk chocolate from in this case. Tell me what you think."
As soon as I bite into it, I'm overwhelmed with joy, it tastes so good.
"She'll love these, thank you so much for your help. How much?"
"Oh, no problem. And it's on the house!" She winks. "1 months are special."
"Thank you so much!" I smile, rushing back home to my house and calling the steakhouse downtown to make reservations.
The reservations are soon made and I managed to work my charm so now we have a table back in a corner where the least noise in the restaurant is.
The only thing left to do now is to call Jen..I'm so nervous.
She picks up after a few rings.
"Hey Calum."
"Hey, it's our 1 month and I made dinner reservations at the new steakhouse downtown. Get dressed! I'm coming to get you in 2 hours!!"
"Damn well okay, whatever you say, boss!"
"That's more like it! Hurry up!" I laugh, hanging up.

I'm about to ring Jen's doorbell and I'm so nervous for tonight, I want it to go perfect, but I feel like I'll say the wrong thing at least once tonight.
I finally work up enough courage to ring the bell.
After a couple of minutes, she opens the door.
Long story short:
I'm speechless.
