Coming home

I hear birds chirping outside, making me waking up a lot more peaceful. As I take off the blanket that are over me, my eyes are stunned by beautiful golden rays of sun.
I yawn, stretching out on the comfortable hotel bed. I slept like a log last night... I guess all that excitement from yesterday really wore me out.
All of a sudden my phone buzzes, I've received a text from my best friend Ash.
"Which plane are you catching? I'll come fetch you from the airport fam." I smile, texting her back "I'm catching the 12PM flight back home! Can't wait to see you bestie :)" I put my phone on the bedside table, and sit up.
Walking towards my suitcase, I recall everything in my mind that happened last night. Meeting Mark and Sean, hugging them, going to dinner, being picked up by Mark (literally), Mark fixing me up like some sort of sexy Doctor, and then AGAIN hugging them.
I can't help a smile overcoming my face, remembering how great they were to me.
I get changed into Jean shorts, a white crop top, and my black sandals. Pulling out my phone I decide to take a mirror selfie, exposing the messy hotel room around me. I post on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and then take a separate one for SnapChat.
All of a sudden my notifications start blowing up. People are commenting, liking, following, DM'ing me, everything.
I gasp in awe at the sight of me getting hundreds, no... thousands of followers in just a few minutes.
I put my phone in my pocket, and decide to start packing. It's only 9:30, but I'll go out for breakfast, maybe shop a little too.
Zipping up my huge suitcase, I grab it's handle. I pick up my purse, and my makeup bag too, and place them next to the door so that when I come back, I can just grab them and go.
Walking outside is refreshing. The leftover morning dew, brushing overtop of my pale tiny feet. Whenever I go outside, I feel so free.. I just wish I could spend my whole life outside, so that I don't have to worry about feeling depressed and lonely inside.
I start walking on the pathway to the city centre, thinking maybe I'll see some famous YouTubers.
I find WhiteSpot, and go inside, pleased that they have a restaurant that I'm familiar with. The place is jam packed with young people, all squished into a tiny lobby. I feel very anxious, but I have to eat.. No questions asked.
Finally after waiting for almost twenty minutes, the lady asks me how many I'm seating with, I respond with "just me..." In that moment I realize how alone I truly am.
"Alright! Come with me." I step up the stairs into a huge room of people, and I'm seated at a booth, just by myself.

MARKS P.O.V.

"Uhhhh Sean..." I whisper, nudging my friend beside me.
"What?" He asks me, sipping his black coffee.
I nod my head towards the pretty girl we met yesterday, she seems to be studying the menu quite thoroughly.
"It's Y/N.." I gulp, she looks so pretty.... But I can't talk to her. All those rumours going around, it'd just make it worse..
"Y/N!!" Sean calls, waving to her.
"Sean, no...." I say, but... It's too late. She's walking towards us, smiling like the cute woman she is. Not going to lie, I so wanted to kiss her last night...
"Hi guys!" She exclaims, grinning. Sean stands up, giving her a hug, and introducing her to his girlfriend, Signe. I stare at her, trying to keep a straight face.
"Hi Mark." She smiles, walking towards me. I cower, and mutter.
"Hi Y/N..." She stops in her tracks, looking confused.
"Join us, Y/N." Sean suggests. I shoot him a look, which I guess she sees. She takes a step back and shakes her head.
"N-No, it's fine..." She wraps her arms around her tiny frame, looking upset.
"I'm better alone anyways," she laughs nervously, saying goodbye and hurrying back to her seat.
I don't look at her for the rest of our breakfast, trying not to make things more awkward then they have to be.
After eating, we all stand up, rushing to get back to our hotels. Sean and Signe are leaving later to go back to Ireland.. I'm going to miss them..
"Cya around maybe, Y/N." They all say goodbye to the gorgeous girl in front of us.
"Yeah, maybe.." She hugs them all, smiling, but I can tell she's sad.
"Bye, Y/N." I say awkwardly.
"Goodbye Mark..." She sighs, picking up her purse and leaving.
Before I think of what I've done, she's already far out of sight..
Have I just ruined everything...???

END OF MARKS P.O.V.

I hurry back to my hotel, trying to conceal my anger and sadness.
I dial Ash's number, needing to rant to someone. I just can't believe he was such an ass... In front of EVERYONE, too, ugh.
"Hello?" I hear my best friends high pitched voice.
I start snuffling, crying a bit.
"Babe, what's the matter?!" She asks, sounding so concerned.
"Mark..." I pause wiping my eyes. "He was an ass, when I saw him." I cry out.
"Tell me everything!" She raises her voice.
I explain what happened. Making an hour experience into a ten minute story.
"Wow... That's low." She sighs. "You won't have to think about him once you come back home." She reminds me.
"Yeah, but he's my laptop background. It's not like I'll never think about him again. He's such an inspiration to me, and starting my channel..." I laugh, thinking about how pathetic I truly am.. Just like what Jenni called me.
I slap my cheek, trying to bring myself back to reality.
"What time is it?" I ask her from the other end.
"It's..." She stops talking, to check. "Eleven o'clock.." She responds, making me get my butt in gear.
"Cmon, just focus on getting home safe. Remember, our apartment?" She pauses for me to reply.
"Of course...." I mumble, cautiously.
"Yeah, it's a mess, I need my neat freak best friend back home." I giggle, and say my goodbyes, telling her I'll see her in a couple hours.

Time to say goodbye to L.A, and hello back to reality...
