"What would you like to order ma'am?"
You were spacing out until the waitress asked you that question.
"Oh-..um..Coffee if that's alright, please."
"Comin' right up." She scribbled on her note pad and went to give your order.
This morning William called you, and he didn't sound as joyful as he usual does.
"Hey Black, what's up?.."
"Hey [Y/N]..are you free today?.."
"Yup, my work for the work is done. Is there something you need?"
"Would you mind meeting me at the diner today? We need to talk."
He sounded serious. So serious that it made you nervous.
Was this about the relationship you two have?
Again, you were dazed in thought, until you saw a figure sit in front of you at your booth.
It was William.
You shook your head to regain self of mind, and swallowed your words. Luckily , Will spoke first to break the silence.
"Don't be nervous. I'm hoping that after we talk, we can just both understand each other."
That's it.
You knew it.
He was going to break the news that what you guys are doing is getting awkward, and he wants to move on.
You tightened your grip, tangling your fingers with each other on the table, not giving him direct eye contact.
After everything you two have. Been through so far, he still hasn't asked you to be in a relationship.
"Black, just tell me." Your voice slightly cracked.
What came out of his mouth next,
was something you would've never expected.
