Aphrodite: Goddess of beauty, love, desire, and pleasure
__________________________Phil smiled as he took roll call, eventually finding out the boy who seem so infatuated with him was named Dan Howell. Hm. Rather fitting for a posh looking boy such as he.
Meanwhile, Dan really was thoroughly intrigued with his new teacher. He truly was stunning. To him, Phil was the only source of light in the room, the smile containing sparkling white teeth making his 20 year old heart flutter.
"Alright, so, before we begin, I was just curious if anyone had any questions for me?" Phil smiled softly, hands clasped in front of him as he scanned over the room. He found a girl near the front with bubblegum pink ends to her Barbie blonde hair waving her raised hand widely. Louise, he remembered. Phil nodded, stating she could go on silently
"Sir, how old are you?" She batted her eyelashes a bit, obviously flirting an earning a slight glare from the boy next to her.
Phil chuckled. Ah, yes. He certainly shouldn't and won't answer honesty. Be a bit hard to explain you're from the 8th century. "I'm... 25" he stated with an affirmative nod to himself and a small smile, a light blush appearing to the girls cheeks as she nodded as well.
Dan sat quietly in the back, lip between his teeth. He's only 25, he thought, not too much older than I am. Watching Phil curiously, Dan listened for Phil to answer more questions, which he did without hesitation.
"What made you want to take this job?" A boy with green eyes and a mess of curls asked. Pj Liguori, he remembered
"Well, I guess I'm just invested in Ancient Greece and I like teaching, so I figured why not?" Phil answered with a smile and a shrug, unknowingly making Dans heart melt once more.
Damn it, Dan, you haven't even spoken to him yet and he's your teacher! Stop it! What's going on with you?
Phil tilted his head curiously as he listened to one question he knew he was going to get. "Why do you have all that stuff back there?" A girl with silvery hair asked, popping gun obnoxiously as she gestured to the set of bow and arrows in the back of the room, along with a sword. Ah yes, his weapons. He turned to the girl called Cat with a grin
"Lesson materials for later" he said simply with a smile and a shrug, sitting up on his desk. He went to say another thing before being cut off by the door flying open, revealing a very excited young woman on the other side.
Phil looked at the woman in confusion, a complete hush falling over the room.
He's still looks beautiful confused, Dan thought to himself with a dreamy sigh Why must the gods hate me so?
The beautiful woman gestured for Phil to come close with a grin, causing some jealous glances from the girls and some certainly not innocent looks from the boys. Of course, Phil recognized the woman as Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty and everything of the sort, so he had no issues with trusting her.
"If you would excuse me for a moment" Phil smiled apologetically before leaving the room quickly with Aphrodite as Dan felt dis pair building in the pit of his stomach
He has a girlfriend! I should have known Dan thought, setting his head down on the desk with a sigh and a thud, earning some glances from everyone around him.
Meanwhile, Aphrodite looked at Phil with what could only be described as pure excitement as she exclaimed quietly "Apollo! I think I've finally found the one for you!" Phil sighed
"They have never worked out before, why should this one? And you interrupted a class just for this? I swe-"
"It's a boy"
"-Go on"
She squealed, clapping excitedly. It was no secret to anyone who knew Greek mythology at all that Apollo had a variety of lovers, both female and male, although they had mostly ended in sorrow. Phil was the embodiment of perfectionism, and if someone didn't fit the bill...
"Okay, so he's really adorable and squeezable" Phil rolled his eyes, arms folding across his chest before listening intently again "He's 20, a bit younger than usual, but I think you really will like him" Phil sighed "I've already put the love spell on him, so he knows and likes you already"
Phil looked at Aphrodite in a bit of shock "What?! Already?!"
She nodded "Yes. And I believe he's already in your lesson"
Sup, mates?
Okay, so I have an actual plan for this story, don't worry. Er, somewhat at least. I really do hope this is interesting to you guys because I'm actually really interested in Greek mythology at the moment so why not write a fanfic?
Anyways, sorry for the errors, I'm too lazy to edit lol
(I hate this chapter so much)
