Artemis: Virgin goddess of the hunt; Twin sister of Apollo
--------------------------------------------Dan gawked at the pile of black ask on the floor, the other students seeming to be too busy in chattering about their one night stands in order to see what was going on around them. "Wha-?" He breathed, looking up at Phil "How did you- what did you.... What?"
Phil cracked a small smile, half-way regretting his decision, but knowing Dan would have to find out one way or another if he was going to be trying his best to protect him. "Light. Demons hate light" he pointed out, only causing Dan to pout
"B-But, you! You lit up!"
"I'm aware of that, Dan, yes"
"How?"
"You see, there's a very logical explanation, and you would know if you were paying attention in yesterday's lesson" Phil teased, causing Dan to let out a somewhat childish whine.
Dan thought, and thought, and thought a little but more before going a bit wide eyed. Wait... They'd learned about Apollo yesterday, didn't they? And Phil had an awful lot of similar traits. That would explain the reason he blushed like a mad man at the statue he had to show. It was him.
But, was he really being rational? Was Phil a god? Was it possible? Well, Dan decided not to rule anything out, watching a demon dissolve right in front of him only moments before.
"Y-You.." He stuttered, looking up at Phil in awe. He could definitely see the resemblance. And Apollo was the God of light, right? It was all so surreal to him. "You're Apollo.." He managed, his cheeks burning brightly as Phil winked at him playfully
"Don't tell anyone" he whispered, looking at Dan seriously "No one can know, okay? No one. Not for a while at least"
Dan nodded, looking up at Phil innocently as the elder smiled at him softly, patting the top of his head "Go sit. I'll talk to you about this after class"
In a stupor, Dan nodded again, shuffling back to his seat next to Chris, who looked at him in an amused manner "You okay there, lover boy?"
"I have no idea"
