Poseidon: God of the sea

-----------------------------------------------

Phil looked at Dan gently as he thought of what to show him, chewing on his lip before clearing his throat. "So, um, I supposed you'd probably want to see just to make sure I'm really not lying to you"

Dan nodded softly. He'd take any chance to see Phil do his thing if he really was who he said he was. Like, having the power to control light, heal people, and know pretty much everything sounded amazing! Plus, making people ill sounded like a good thing if he ever needed to plan a revenge. "Yes, please" He smiled a bit.

Phil smiled back at Dan softly before hopping off of his desk, wringing his hands out as he stood in front of the boy. He smiled at him reassuringly as Dan looked on in awe, his eyes wide and child-like with curiosity before holding his hand out, palm up. Dan gasped in happy surprise as  a small light flickered to life on Phil's palm, glowing a bright, yet soft white.

"Can you change it's colours?" Dan asked curiously, causing Phil to chuckle before changing the shade of the light of that of a pale pink, and a soft orange, and finally, a bright shade of blue.

"I most certainly can" Phil smiled widely, looking at the light before closing his palm, the light shutting out with a quiet sizzle. "You already know about the whole music deal, so I don't need to explain that," Phil hummed, thinking quietly before asking softly "Do you have any scars or injuries?" He asked, looking at Dan with a curious tilt of his head.

The smaller boy pulled his lips to the side in thought, looking down at himself before his face lit up, nodding as he looked back up at Phil. "Now that I think of it, I do, actually" He rolled his pantleg up, showing the raven-haired boy a long, fairly deep scar going up the length of his calf. "When I was younger, I tried to scale a chain-link fence. Needless to say, I fell, and I got my leg cut on a pointy piece of wire. I mean, I'm fine, it's just a scar now, but if you could get rid of it.." He trailed off, chewing his lip gently.

Phil nodded with a chuckle, smiling at Dan in a fond manner before nodding "I can. Sorry, my hands are probably cold. They usually are"

Dan giggled softly with a nod, smiling at Phil widely as two tiny moon craters popped into place in his cheeks. "It's okay" He assured him

"Alright" Phil took a small step closer to Dan, gently placing a hand on his calf. His hand wasn't as cold as Dan expected to be, a quite a bit more rough too. Well, Dan supposed that Phil had  been alive for quite some time and that his hands were probably just rough from working. It's not like he could have just said 'hey, I'm a god, treat me well' in the modern world at not get thrown into an asylum. Well, with everyone else, but me, Dan thought.

Before his eyes, the scar on his leg glowed dimly, a gentle white emitting from it before slowly disappearing. Dan looked at his leg in awe before looking up at Phil in the same way, a soft gasp leaving his lips beforehand. Phil really was amazing, and Dan wholeheartedly believed him now.

After a bit more of Phil proving to Dan he was genuine, Dan went to his dorm, a small smile on his lip. He so desperately wanted to call Chris and tell him everything that had happened to him today, but he didn't. For Phil's sake. He told him not to, and he wasn't going to disobey his orders. He saved him from a demon he couldn't see, after all.

He sighed in content as he flopped onto his couch, putting on some anime for background noise as he scrolled through his Tumblr feed, liking and reblogging the occasional photo or text post before eventually feeling  his eyelids grow heavy, falling asleep to the sound of the Death Note theme song.

Meanwhile, Phil sat at the table in his own home, his eyebrows pulled together in thought as he pursed his lips in the same manner. How could he break what was happening to Dan? Sure, the first -and probably worst- part was over and done with, but he still had an abundance of things to tell him.

One: He was his One. A term within the gods for when Aphrodite decided that that god -or in this case human- belonged with a god forever. She'd only told him the rest of the ordeal over the phone when he'd arrived home, deciding to keep Phil out of the dark.

Two: Something slightly harder would be telling Dan that he was wanted in more ways than one by Hades. Hades wanted Dan's innocence, meaning that he was most likely a virgin. He didn't just pick anyone. But, that also meant that Dan would have to stay down in the underworld with Hades forever, and he didn't like the sound of that at all. Dan was his. His! Not Hades' Aphrodite even told him so.

Three: Probably the hardest out of them all; He had to tell Dan he had to do things  with him without seeming like a total creep. Phil knew what to do, as this had happened to one of his friends once before, but he knew that it was possible for Dan not to be comfortable with that yet. He just hoped for Dan's safety -and possibly his own happiness- that Dan would understand and consent. But, Phil wasn't a monster, and certainly wouldn't if the boy didn't consent

He sighed in exhaustion, resting his head in his arms tiredly before slowly drifting off into a well deserved slumber himself, his dreams filled to the brim with that of big brown eyes and the most happy of dimpled smiles.

Fuck yeah, bitch, 1000 words right on! Ha!

And sorry, I took so long with updating, I've been still caught up in schoolwork.

And, about the photo, HE LOOKS SO SMOL AND SQUISHY I LOVE HIM SO MUCH

thank you

-Cassie
