Perfection

I once knew a girl
Harriet was her name
The epitome of perfection
My best friend, my sister

Long blonde hair,
Blue doe eyes
Freckles dotted across her cheekbones
Glasses to frame her eyes

Not too slim
But not too chubby
A unique sense of fashion
Which suited her but not others

Intelligent
Loved
Beautiful
Talented

In comparison to me
The polar opposite
She was the dictionary definition of perfection
I was the dictionary definition of rejection

Until the perfection got to her head
She drifted away further and further
Until she was simply a blurry figure
Miles away from me

Her perfection adored by all
The best person to know
Until she realised you didn't fit her perfection agenda
And left you forever...

Going
Going
Gone...
