He was a boomerang
He'd be thrown away from her
He'd take his time
But he'd always fly back to her
But as their relationship progressed
He was "thrown away" more often than not
He'd take even longer than before
And one time he just flew off and never returned
But when he flew away he took her heart with him
And while she looked for miles to find her boomerang guy
He'd moved on with her heart
Knowing of the damage he'd done
