I tell you I'm a misanthrope
You simply laugh at me
"You're just anti-social, you'll change your mind soon enough."
But that simply isn't the case
I've been torn down, hated, broken and virtually killed by people
Become a shell of my former self
Considered suicide, starving, self-harm
All of the above and more
And all you tell me is that I'm overreacting
People are the reason I cry myself to sleep
The reason I'm in pieces every fucking day
Feel unloved, ugly, unwanted
Because of the majority of people I've ever met
So I'm not overreacting, I'm justifying my cause by any means necessary.
I'd rather be "anti-social" than in a morgue thanks to humanity
