#24. Our lives are falling apart...

Raven's POV

I sat on my floor still looking out the window since Evan left, i felt so bad for what i did. Because i knew that he loved me and he was just trying to protect me.

But i blew that and now we are probably really done. I heard a knock at the door and i almost hesitated to answer it, cause i didn't want to be in the same room as a person right now.

I got up and unlocked the door, pulling it open. "What are you doing here delirious? Did you and Vanoss have a fight and now your here to get revenge cause that's how Evan sees it."

I say as i walk back in. "What are you talking about." He says in a quiet yet angry voice, he sits down opposite me and rubs his eyes. He didn't have his mask on.

"Hey? What's wrong?" I ask. He looks at me, and just says."Long story short, Brian found jasmine talking to a guy from the KL and brought him back to the house. He managed to attack Brian, grabbed a knife and tried to slit his throat, but he slit Ashley's instead."

He put his face in his hands, I could only feel like it was my fault. " Why was she down in the basement, it's usually only the guys that are allowed to interrogate people." I say tears forming in my eyes.

"Ter said she was angry and wanted to help, I should have helped her, i could have helped her.." I could here him choke up and wipe his eyes.

A tear rolled down my cheek and i could only manage out:"It was me." I say breathing heavily now. I stand up and walk to the window trying to calm myself down.

"What do you mean?" He says picking his head up from his hands."I'm the reason she was down there i was the reason she was angry." I say looking back at him.

I put my back against the window and slide down to the floor, hugging my knees. He walks over and sits beside me. "It's not your fault, i told her about it." I look at him tears streaming down his face.

"And i said that i... I think we'd be better off as friends." My jaw drops, and it makes me cry even more. "Because when you kissed me, something just clicked." He looks in to my eyes and looks back down.

"Don't blame yourself, but i know now you probably just did it to make Vanoss jealous didn't you?" He says. I look at his hands, they were bruised and blood stained, it made me scared but he wouldn't hurt me... would he?

"You saved me delirious, remember? The gun you put in my back pocket. I kissed you because i remembered that moment, That the guy i had been so close with was the wrong guy."

I pull him in to a hug, and he hugs me back. "It's no one's fault."

~1 month later~

Vanoss' POV

1 Week until the "Big shipment" that the KL were supposedly getting, is drugs. And loads of them, I got everyone together to figure out how we're gonna do this.

"So how are we gonna do this?" wildcat shouts as he walks in. "Shut up and sit down." I say. "So from what we've heard, the shipment is on a cargo plane and landing at the airstrip in sandy shores. Did you get anything else lui?"

"Yeah, the whole lot of them are gonna be there plus the guys from out of state so we're gonna have to ground the plane somewhere else."

V~ And how exactly are we going to manage that with out causing any attention to it?

W~ Where is the plane coming from? Maybe we can get it in the other state.

L~ It's coming from north Yankton, Freezing cold but the plane would be easy to ditch.

R~ Yeah but then what? How are we gonna get the drugs back here if we put it in the ground over there?

W~ We rent a warehouse over there, keep them there until our dealers need more,we tell them where to find them.

V~ It would have to be far out but something that doesn't look suspicious."

L-All warehouses look suspicious, even more if its further out. If this is going to work it will need to be in the middle. No one will rob a warehouse in the center of a town.

R- We still haven't found out what we will do with the plane.

V~ Once the plane is empty it's none of our business, So the plane is not a problem.

After a few hours we knew what we were doing.

We would all go to Yankton, 2 Days before the shipment is due. And stay near the airstrip where the cargo plane will land. After the plane is over wastelands far out from the town, Lui and a few others will shoot the plane down, once its on the ground, we get in to the plane and take the drugs and get out before we attract any attention.

We had four days to do what ever the fuck we wanted considering this was the riskiest job we'd ever done. The last job might have been the same but, blood is bound to spill this time around.

After everyone left the heist room most of them went to bed, But i stayed up, I wasn't sleeping my possible last few days away.

I climbed to the roof of the house and looked over the city, i knew that doing this job should have bothered me, but it didn't. It was almost a relief.

After jasmine and fox died, and my best friend seems to love my girlfriend, I just gave up with everyone. I never should have let anyone else in this gang especially girls.

The only girls left in this gang were Raven and Tammy, and Tammy was not an option to take my mind off things.

I should have killed Tammy with the rest of the hostages and maybe none of this would have happened.
