💔America's POV💔

I walked into my room and closed the door. I'm glad that my maids aren't in my room right now. I don't want them to see what I'm going to write. Luckily, I found two pencils and a few pieces of paper in my makeup dresser.

I forgot that I had that there because I would use that to wright my family letters. I may as well send them a letter telling them that I'm okay. I might send some strawberry tarts over for May too. I don't need to write Nicoletta a letter because I have her contact information from when I first met her at a party.

I sat down and started to write my letter to August and Georgia. This is what I wrote:

Dear August and Georgia,

You may come to the palace now. You may bring 1-2 extra people, but no more than that. We don't want Kriss to get suspicious. I am inviting Nicoletta too because she may help us.

Make sure to bring enough items because you'll be staying until after the wedding. Don't forget to bring some formal clothes because you may have to wear those before the wedding for a party for Nicoletta. The party will be a cover up for the real reason Nicoletta will be at the palace.                                                  -Sincerely,                                                                                                                                America Singer

I finished writing the letter and  placed it inside an envelope. I know exactly who to give this to, but I'll give it to them after dinner. It's now time to call Nicoletta. I don't have a telephone in my room, so I went to the place where I would call my family while I was in the Selection, the Woman's Room.

I arrived in the room and I looked around. The only people who were around were the two guards that were outside the doors. Other than that, I was alone. I walked to the phone in the far end of the corner and dialed the number. After two rings, Nicoletta finally picked up.

"Hello?" she said on the other side.

"Hello Princess Nicoletta!" I said excitedly. I actually am a little excited to actually talk to Nicoletta, it's been a while.

"America? Is that you?" Nicoletta asked excitedly.

"Yep! I'm glad your in your office right now! Is there anyone else in there?" I asked.

"No. Just a couple guards outside my office. Why?" she responded.

I took a deep breath and explained, "I need you at the palace within a few days. We need to talk again. There's something about Kriss that I need to tell you but I can't say it over the phone. We also need to discuss what we need to do about her. Georgia will also be there."

There was a short pause until Nicoletta said, "I'll be there in two days, which is Tuesday."

"Good! I'll prepare a welcome party for you." I explained

"Why? Plus, it's a lot of work to plan a party in two days!" she stated.

"It's a cover up. Plus, don't you think it would be suspicious if you came here with no welcome party? There's always a welcome party for our guests. Plus, I've planned a party before as a lesson during the Selection." I explained.

"Okay. I have to go now. I need to finish important documents. See you later. " she said then hanged up. I sighed in relief. I didn't know if she would actually show up or not. I guess it's time to write a letter to my family.

I went back to my room and wrote this:

Dear Family,

I am doing well right now. I am helping Queen Amberly and Lady Kriss with the wedding plans. I will not be back home until after Kriss' and Maxon's wedding, which is in a month. Tell May that I'll bring home pictures of the wedding. Also tell May that this letter will come along with strawberry tarts to enjoy in the box that you have.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Sincerely,                                                                                                                                -America

I finished putting the little letter in an envelope, wrote down the the address, and walked back out of my room to give this to a maid. After bout five minutes of walking, I finally spotted Lucy, one of my maids.

"Lucy? Would you mind if you mail this letter for me? Don't forget to send a box of strawberry tarts too!" I suggested.

"Yes ma'am. Is this for your family?" she asked after I handed her the envelope.

"Yes. I'm just sending them a letter telling them that I'm okay." I explained.

"Will do." she said. "I'll give this to the mail team right away. Do you need me to mail the other letter you have as well?"

"No. All I need is this letter sent to my family and a box of strawberry tarts sent as well." I replied.

"Okay. Goodbye Miss." Lucy said while bowing, then walked away.

Alright. Time to find the one person who can send this letter to August and Georgia safely. I thought to myself determined.

I basically walked around the palace aimlessly for 30 minutes. I didn't know where Aspen would be so I figured to walk around until found him.

As I'm walking, a guard is making his rounds.

He spotted me and asked, "Do you need anything Lady America?" I looked at his name tag and it read Officer Woodwork. I was about to deny the offer, but instead I asked him a question that may help me.

"Yes, Officer Woodwork, I do. Do you know where Officer Leger is?" I replied.

"Yes ma'am." he replied. "I pass by him him in about five minutes while I'm doing my rounds. Why do you ask?"

"I need you to give this letter to him. It's for my friends  August and Georgia. Since he told me he'll be seeing them soon, I thought he might give this to them." I explained after handing him the envelope. I believe Aspen will know what I mean by August and Georgia.

"Okay. I'll give it to him when I pass by him." He confirmed then walked away. I'm glad that I sent all the letters out. Now, it's time to plan the welcome party for Nicoletta within two days and I need Celeste's help.

I start walking back to my room when I realized where I was. I was halfway across the palace, because the stairs that lead to the foyer at the front of the palace is near. Ugh, it's going to be a long walk back!
