Aaaahhhh, sorry I haven't updated in a long time! -clears throat- Anwyays, please enjoy this. I think from Nia's point of view will be great. (Esepecially since I love NIA FRAZIER!)
***********
My name is Nia Frazier. And my name is something I am not proud of at all. You see me getting screamed at soooo much. I usually break down and cry.
Yeah, I am not the best dancer in the world, and I know it too.
I do try though. i try with my feet, I try with smile, and I try with my timing.
I try with everything.
But even when you get to the top, you are immediatly brought back down.
I have a story to show you why I always get brought back down. Go ahead, fight me, but it is true.
(2 Hours Earlier)
I scuffed my feet on the ground as I waked to the Bus Stop. My mom hurried up in front of me, anxious to gos hopping. Truth be told, I didn't want to miss competition this week. I didn't want to go to my stupid cousin's wedding. I didn't want to do anything my mom wanted to do.
"Nia, hurry up!" My mom took out two quarters and a dollar to pay the bus driver. I walked up next to my mom and stood there. After what felt like forever, the bus came.
"'Ello there, my name is John, and I will be driving ye bus for today," the grumpy old man said gloomily. My mother hurried to the back of the bus and sat down. The paint was coming off the sides of the bus, and it smelled so so so so so so so so dirty.
"So, Nia, are you excited fo rthe wedding?" my mom asked me, breaking the scilence. I shrugged and looked out the window.
"Awe, baby, c'mon, you are excited!"
"No I'm not," I mumbled under my breath.
"What was that?"
"I didn't say anything!" I shouted.
John poked his head up in the mirror. ''Keep it down back there, yea?"
I rolled my eyes and turned away from my mom, who was shaking hwer head. I saw so many kids out there wuth their friends playing. ONe kids was sateboarding, (something I always loved to do), another watering his mini garden, and two older kids making out.
I wanted to be a normal kid all my life, but ever since I auditioned for the show, my life had been flipped. I didn't want to be, "OMG IS THAT NIA FRAZIER!", but "Nia Frazier From School, Hey!"
The bus pulled to a stop and my mom got up . She payed the bus driver more money and walked out of the door. I followed my mom and walked up to the big mall, with all its kids shopping and hanging out.
Once I walked into the building, the crisp smell of fountain water and popcorn eroded the air. I walked along the shops, taking it all in.
My mom went through her purse, pulling out a few 50 dollar bills. "Here," she said, "take this. I found a nice dress in that little shop over there! But it is for woman only. Text me when you found something!"
I nodded and walked along the mall. It was busy today. I looked around and noticed a cute, purple dress with a black belt and white polka dots. I walked up to it and held it in my hand.
"I'm sorry, but this dress is already taken," a voice spoke up. I whipped my head around to see a lady with glasses peering over the top of my head.
"I'm sorry..." I muttered.
"Good, now go!" I noticed she had a thick French accent.
I walked away from the shop and decided to take my phone out to listen to some morning. I nodded my head to the beat and looked at one store... "Ches Mune", a very different name. I walked in and a bunch of girls my age were in there.
"No, but Mummy, I want this one, not the green color!" a little girl shouted at her parent. The mom was obviously stressed.
"But darling, they don't have any pink in your sizes!"
"I don't care, I want this one!"
"I can see what I can do."
"Oh, thank you Mummy, I love you!"
"Now you do."
I walked away from the spoiled brat and went over to the section which was titled, "Sophisticated But Sassy!" I saw a nice, yellow dress with a white belt and sequins leading up from the bottom.
I picked it up and held it in my hands. I searched for the price tag and noticed that it was on clearence for 50 bucks! I immediatly ran up to the cashier.
"Hi, I would like to buy this dress," I told the lady.
She smiled at me, then frowned. "Your Nia Frazier, from Dance Moms!"
I nodded and smiled. I was hoping she was one of my 'big fans', mainly because I really didn't have any.
The lady looked at me and frowned. "Your horrible, as in dance. Your terrible."
Tears welled up in my eyes. How could one person say that to another person. She checked me out and I ran away from the store. I immediatly bumped into my mom. Tears flowed out of my face and I wrapped my arms around her.
"Nia, what's the matter?" my mom asked me.
I looked up at her and started crying again. I couldn't help it. My mom lifted my face up from her stmach and looked at me.
"Nia Frazier, tell me what is the matter."
"S-s-s-somebody s-s-s-s-said th-th-th-th-that I-I-I-I-I w-w-w-was h-h-h-h-horrible a-a-a-at d-d-d-d-dance." I started to cry again and my mom lifted my face up, for like the third time.
"Nia Frazier, forget the haters. Somebody loves you, besides me of course. I am your mother, I mean, what else would you expect? But anyways, that isn't the point. You have fans and everybody loves you."
"But this comment broke me." I started to get smart mouthed on her. "It was rude, and, ugh..."
I stormed away without a care in the world. My mom came chasing after me, but I idn't care. She eventually gave up. Our house was 2 miles away.
Once I got home from my little mini-run, I went up stairs to my bedroom, slamming the door. I cried my heart out.
~Forget the haters, cause somebody loves ya.
Sure. Sure they did. If somebody loved me other than my mom, why would I be sitting here, crying? I am done with it all.
I love ya Nia! Poor girl. :-( Anyways,I hope you enjoyed the chapter and sorry it took me so long to update! Hugs and kisses!
