You know that feeling you get when you just realized something bad happened? Yeah, that just happened to me. When I was about to walk into dance today, I realized that Maddie, Mackenzie, and- what I was told last night- Nia were gone.

Now, I don't have Maddie or Mackenzie looking up to me anymore. I just have... nobody. Maybe Kendall, but other than that nobody.

Nia is gone.

Maddie is gone.

Mackenzie is gone.

My sisters were gone.

**************

Paige, my mom, and I were the first ones here. It was strangely quiet, probably because Abby put all her classes on hold today. I sat down on the floor and pulled my turners. I hated wearing jazz shoes. Today was a record November high of 60 degrees farehnheit, so my mom let me and Paige wear shorts.

Paige lifted her leg up into a needle, but then dropped it. She couldn't hold them anymore. "Control, Paige, control..." I muttered. My mom chattered away on her phone until finally clicking it off. "Abby has a surprise for you guys," she told me and Brooke.

Kendall was the next one to arrive, with a huge smiled on her face. Give her a big sign that says, "Hey, Guess What, Kendall is On Top of the Pyramid Today!" and we would be complete.

Chloe arrived next and quietly sat down. Something seemed strange today with her, maybe she was upset over Maddie? I was too, but I was also upset over Nia and Mackenzie, too.

The Dancer's Den was quiet. Kendall and Chloe put on their shoes quickly before leaning back against the wall. There was no Mackenzie doing splits or Maddie turning around in a circle. Nia wasn't here either to make us all laugh with a silly story that her brother told.

"Hi," Someone said. I turned to see who it was. I looked over at him. He seemed faqirly young, with tan skin and spiked hair. I looked over at Kendall who had googly eyes and a small smile.

"Hi," we all said back. He quietly sat down at the end of a bench and put on his shoes.

"Erm, my name is Ashton."

We looked back at him. He scratched his neck and then looked at the ground.

"I want to know who you guys are."

"I'm Kendall!" Kendall shouted. "Single and ready to mingle!" she did a flirtatious wave to him and flipped her hair. I snickered and stood up. Kendall lhad a crush on him, it was basically obvious. Ashton had a smirk on his face, but it looked like he didn't care.

"I'm Brooke. I am a lot older than all of these kids, and I certainly am flexible," I told him. I didn't want him to do anything with me.

The girls all muttered replies like, "You got that right." Ashton looked amazed and watched me stretch out into a split .I took my foot and brought it up to my head. I don't know why Ashton would be so amazed. I mean, practically every dancer that is semi-proffesional can do that. But I,I was certainly flexible.

"I'm Paige, don't try anything with me please, because I have no idea how old you are."

I laughed. Typical Paige and her comments. I strolled over to the door and opened it up, peering inside. Abby was setting up some kind of row. What was this, a new Pyramid called, 'The Train?'

I closed the door and looked back to see Ashton in a needle. He was amzed that I could do a split, but here he was holding a needle for about a minute flat. Paige should watch his control, strength, and FLEXIBILITY. Boys these days...

"Girls, boy, lets go!" I heard the familiar voice yell. I walked into the studio to see that there was no pyramid, but a somewhat different set up. It had our five pictures and underneath it it went first, second, third, fourth, and fifth.
