PEOPLE GONE: MADDIE, NIA, AND MACKENZIE.
*********
The recent competition that we went to flipped us all upside down. I never knew that this would happen. I also learned that Nia quit dance. I kept trying to tell myself that I will wake up soon. I will. I have to. It's just a nightmare.
But I couldn't wake up.
It's just Paige, Brooke, Kendall, and I. We were told 'Dance Moms' will still continue. I really hope it does. I like seeing myself on television, it makes me giddy inside.
This year is going to be really different.

My mom swung open the door to the Abby Lee Dance Company. Trophies were lined up against the walls, proudly displayed. "This proves this dance studio is the best!" they seemed to scream. I saw pictures of me and the girls along the walls, too.
I saw a picture of Maddie, Mackenzie, and Nia. It was after a competition and they were holding up a first place trophy. The three winners who decided to think that they were losing with life.
The Dancer's Den was quiet. Us girls all put on our shoes quietly. There was no Mackenzie doing splits or Maddie turning around in a circle. Nia wasn't here either to make us all laugh with a silly story that her brother told.
"Hi," Someone said. I turned to see who it was. All of a sudden, something clicked in my mind. He had hair that was spiked in the front and had tan skin. He wore an ALDC jacket that said, 'Ashton'. This was the new boy.
"Hi," we all said back. He quietly sat down at the end of a bench and put on his shoes.
"Erm, my name is Ashton."
We looked back at him. He scratched his neck and then looked at the ground.
"I want to know who you guys are."
"I'm Kendall!" Kendall shouted. "Single and ready to mingle!" she did a flirtatious wave to him and flipped her hair. Brooke snickered and stood up.
"I'm Brooke. I am a lot older than all of these kids, and I certainly am flexible."
We all muttered replies like, "You got that right." Ashton looked amazed and watched Brooke stretch out into a split. She took her foot and brought it up to head. I can even do that, and I'm not the most flexible person out there. I don't know why Ashton would be so amazed.
"I'm Paige, don't try anything with me please, because I have no idea how old you are."
Ashton stared at Paige like he was crazy. He snickered, stood up, and went into a needle. This was the boy who was amazed at a split. I leaned over to Paige. "Didn't know he was that flexible."
"Me neither," he agreed.
"Girls, boy, lets go!" I heard the familiar voice yell. I walked into the studio to see that there was no pyramid, but a somewhat different set up. It had our five pictures and underneath it it went first, second, third, fourth, and fifth.
"Welcome to the new pyramid." Abby told us. Cameramen circled around us, getting our every spot.
"Now, let us start." Abby eyed us all and tore of the fifth place plaque. "Ashton. You are new and there was nothing I could judge you on, so therefore, I had to put you here."
I was glad I wasn't in fifth place, but I knew that u would be in either fourth or third.
"Fourth place is Paige. Paige, I was hoping to see more from you in the group dance after that little duet slip up. I want more other than you messing up all the time."
