That was it. I won. I won at competition. Abby was so proud. I won. She couldn't believe it. I couldn't either. I won. We won. I won for the ALDC. This just couldn't process through my head...

I was bound to be at the top.

But would there even be a Pyramid? I mean, there is only four of us, plus the new kid Ashton who is apparently really cute.

Boy, do I love the ALDC.

But boy, is it going to be different.

**********

Paige and Brooke were already there when I arrived. They were being really quiet. I was smiling however, today was going to be one of the best dance days ever.

I mean ever.

Chloe arrived next and quietly sat down quietly. Usually, she would wave at us and smile, but today, she didn't even look at us. It was really strange to see her like this. My poor Chlobird.

The Dancer's Den was quiet. I quickly put on my shoes and leaned up against the wall, stretching my back. It seemed odd though. There was no Mackenzie doing splits or Maddie turning around in a circle. Nia wasn't here either to make us all laugh with a silly story that her brother told.

"Hi," Someone said. I turned to see who it was. I looked over at him. He seemed faqirly young, with tan skin and spiked hair. I guess he was cute. I mean, ow, he is hawt.

"Hi," we all said back. He quietly sat down at the end of a bench and put on his shoes.

"Please notice me," I whispered.

"Erm, my name is Ashton."

We looked back at him. He scratched his neck and then looked at the ground.

"I want to know who you guys are."

"I'm Kendall!" I shouted. "Single and ready to mingle!" I waved at him and flipped my hair. Everyone was laughing, but I was serious. I was in love with this wonderful creature.

Brooke and stood up. "I'm Brooke. I am a lot older than all of these kids, and I certainly am flexible," I told him. I didn't want him to do anything with me.

We all muttered replies like, "You got that right." Ashton looked amazed and watched her stretch out into a split I scoffed and crossed my arms. He was supposed to be paying attention to me.

"I'm Paige, don't try anything with me please, because I have no idea how old you are."

Brooke laughed. Typical Paige and her comments. Ashton had his head on the wall. Then, he stood up and pulled his leg into a needle. He was flicking amazing.

"Girls, boy, lets go!" I heard the familiar voice yell. I walked into the studio to see that there was no pyramid, but a somewhat different set up. It had our five pictures and underneath it it went first, second, third, fourth, and fifth.

"Welcome to the new pyramid." Abby told us. I knew that I was going to be in first. First place, again. I'm the new Maddie. I am-

Maddie.

I can't think about her.

"Now, let us start." Abby eyed us all and tore of the fifth place plaque. "Ashton. You are new and there was nothing I could judge you on, so therefore, I had to put you here."

My poor Ashton. He looked so upset.

Gosh I love him.

"Fourth place is Paige. Paige, I was hoping to see more from you in the group dance after that little duet slip up. I want more other than you messing up all the time."
