Lena was almost always happy when she was hanging out with her best friend Eric, he was her best friend, but she had been crushing on him since about the 5th grade. Here she was almost seven years later, still with her crush. It didn't really matter anymore because he would be going to college soon and he would meet more girls and probably fall in love with one. The two had been best friends, well, forever. Their moms had been friends since middle school. Eric cared about Lena a lot, he would do anything for her, he started having a crush on her his sixth grade year, no one had ever known because he couldn't imagine his life without his best friend, even if it meant hiding his feelings. Eric knew he could talk to Lena about anything without the fear of being judged, and Lena knew the exact same thing for Eric. Both of them had a crush on the other, but both thought the other would never feel the same way, so they kept it hidden.
