Rachel and The Sandwich

Rachel cradled Emma in her arms while making little gurgling noises to make her laugh. Ross came into the living room wearing a sharp suit, combed hair, and perfumed essence. Rachel crinkled her nose and said, "Hey sweetie do you mind taking me to the doctor for Emma's checkup?" Ross paused and said," Oh uh, I can't right now I uh have to attend a teachers meeting at the university. Maybe Joey can take you?" Before she can say anything else he pecked her on the cheek and walked out the front door. Rachel frowned but continued soothing  baby Emma. Joey burst in the living room carrying a plastic bag with sandwiches all for him. "Oh hi Rachel, is Ross here? Oh and baby Emma!" He sniffed and whispered, "Ross... I smell Ross. That's the cologne he wears when he goes out on a date. Hm, weird. Anyways, you want a sandwich?" He plopped down on the couch and took a big bight of the sandwich. Rachel knitted her eyebrows and waggled her finger towards Joey and said,"What was that about how he only wears that cologne when he goes out on dates?" Joey swallowed and said, "Oh yeah, he has all his colognes sorted out for certian things. He's really organized you know." 

In between bites Joey said, "Why? Where did he say he was going?" Rachel didn't want to say it but mumbled out an answer. "He said he was going to a Teacher meeting or something. He couldn't take me to Emma's appointment." Joey frowned while looking down lovingly at his sandwich. "Ohhh that Ross. He's slick." Rachel frowned and slapped her hand on joeys chest and said, "Don't you dare say it or think it. He's not... he's not seeing another woman alright?" She sat back down and sat in silence for a moment. "Now give me a sandwich." He nervously handed her a sandwich and they both ate in silence. They watched romance movies even though Joey wanted to see horror movies but he knew Rachel would snap. It was nice hanging out for once.
