Kellens POV

After I finished singing Diana to Kat, she instantly fell asleep. God she looks so cute while she's sleeping. Her head was in my chest and her arms were wrapped around my waist. Her phone had been buzzing like crazy for 5 minutes straight but I couldn't get it because she was on me and I didn't want to wake her. It probably wasn't anyone important. Gosh I just need to tell Kat how I feel. If I don't, Reed will admit his real feelings for her and she'll fall into his trap. He was a famous hot shot singer and I was just a dreamer when it came to singing. All I could do was hope that one day I would get my big break. And don't even get me started on how amazing Kat's voice is. She sings like a freaking angel, AND she plays guitar and piano. Does it get any better than that? No, didn't think so. I looked down at her pale yet beautiful flawless face.

I jumped to the sound of someone banging on the door. I quickly yet gently covered her ears. She shifted a little bit, then settled again. I was pissed off. Who the hell is coming to her house this late?! I quietly got up and answered the door. Ofcourse. Ofcourse of all people it's him.

Reeds POV

It had been a lot longer than I expected, but I finally got to leave the studio. I texted Kat......no reply. I texted her again, no reply. What the hell? Oh my god I swear if Kellen did or is doing something to her, he will never see the light of day ever again. As soon as I got home, I went to Kat's house. I was about to knock when I saw through the window that Kellen was all snuggled up to her and I'm pretty sure he was singing. Theres no way in hell he's gonna steal Kat from me. Before he could do anything sketchy, I banged on the door. I waited till he answered the door and he looked pissed off.

"What do you want!?" He asked in a quiet whisper closing the door behind him.

"I'm just making sure Kat's ok." I replied.

"What could have possibly happened to her? I've been with her the whole time."

"That's why I was checking in on her. Just wanted to make sure you didn't get to Horney and well....." I said to him with a smile.

"Ha....ha....ha. Very funny. Now why don't you just go home and bother someone else like you brother." He said turning to go back inside.

Before he could go back inside, I grabbed his shoulder.

"Listen, I know we both hate each other but can we just get along for Kat? She hates seeing us fight."

When I said that he stared at me for a second then said,

"I know you like Kat. Trust me you make it obvious. But I like her too...a lot. That's why I'm only gonna act nice to you for Kat, NOT for you."

"Fine by me." I replied.

"Now get home." Kellen said as he walked back inside.

Great. He likes Kat too. I can't compete with him. He's been friends with Kat for years, and I've only know her for a little over a week. As I walked into my house, I could tell my mom had already fallen asleep, and I knew Blake was spending the night at a kid he had made friends with house. I went up to my room and decided to get ready to go to sleep. I took off my shirt and changed into some shorts. I plopped down onto my bed and put my headphones on. Instantly Hall Of Fame by The Script came on. I love this song. It's so I inspirational. I listened to every word as I slowly slipped into a peaceful sleep.

I heard a voice singing while playing guitar. I just a ignored it and flipped over onto my stomach. Suddenly I heard whoever was singing sigh and sing even louder.
