The weekend tumbled on slow as ever. Camila really wanted to see Lauren, she was missing her (only a little) but she wanted an apology, which she hadn't received yet. She didn't even know if
Lauren had remembered anything from the party. Regardless if she didn't, she still wanted a sincere sorry from her. Sorry for the insult and sorry for getting Zayn and Michael to beat up Austin. But for the kiss, she wanted an explanation and a good one. Not some bullshit excuse like 'it was the alcohol'. It wasn't like Camila didn't enjoy the kiss that's for sure, she loved it and she wanted more, but she didn't want Lauren waking up the next morning and regretting everything.Lauren dragged herself to school, after having to listen to her parents rant, during breakfast, about the destruction that happened to the church. Little did they knew the graffiti and smashed windows was caused by her and Camila.
Once she arrived at school, she seen the dreaded Camila leaned against her locker speaking to Dinah and Normani. She gripped her books to her chest as Camila glanced over at Lauren awkwardly, not knowing if to approach her or not. When Dinah and Normani explained they was going to class early, the brown eyed girl decided she would attempt to speak to her. Before she could even walk to the opposite of the corridor, Lauren slammed her locker door shut and took to her heels, speeding down the hall. Camila paced after her, but lost her as soon as she turned the corner.
"Hey."
"Oh hi, Austin." Camila jumped as she turned to see the taller boy behind her.
"So, I was wondering maybe we could hang out sometime because we never got to talk at the party." Austin explained as he bit his lower lip, looking over Camila's body and making Camila mentally vomit.
"Yeah... maybe." Camila nodded awkwardly as Austin wrote his number on some scrap paper and handed it to Camila.
"Just call me when you're free." He smiled seductively as he peeled his eyes from Camila's figure and traveled down the hall, away from Camila. No thanks.

"Mom, I really don't feel comfortable with this..." Lauren pleaded as she followed her Mother around the kitchen, watching her set the table out for dinner.
"Go and get ready, sweetie." Lauren's mother demanded as she set out six plates on the neat table.
Lauren huffed loudly, storming out of the kitchen and up the stairs. She didn't want to do this. She knew what her Mom was trying to do. Bradley Simpson and his parents were coming for dinner. Lauren's parents had met them at church and soon got talking how they wanted to pair their children together. Lauren's mother had a little discussion about Bradley to her and it soon escalated to how they could potentially get married. That made Lauren freak out. She put on the pink dress her mother had ordered for her to wear and curled her hair perfectly as put in a pink bandana around her head.
After listening to a whole album of AC DC, Lauren elegantly strolled down the stairs once she heard the doorbell ring. She gazed at Bradley who was standing at the bottom of the staircase, whilst their parents both started to chat to one another. Bradley had brown curly hair, that suited him well and he was wearing smart pants, along with a white collar shirt.
"Hey... yo-you look very bea-beautiful this evening." Bradley stuttered nervously as he analysed Lauren with his chocolate eyes.
"Thanks, Brad. Do you mind if I call you Brad?" Lauren shrugged as they both edged towards the dining room.
"No, of co-course not." Bradley pulled a weak smile, letting his nerves show through. However, Lauren found it slightly cute how he got nervous around her.
They both took a seat opposite each other at the long, wooden table as Lauren's parents sat at the end and Bradley's parents sat parallel to each other, too. The table was covered in millions of bowels that had different types of food in each one as Lauren's father started to cut up to the chicken for everyone. Each person passed their dish over as Lauren's father placed slices of chicken on every plate and then, everyone helped themselves to the variety of food scattered across the table.
"So, Lauren, what do you do in your spare time?" Bradley's mother chirped up as she started to chop up her food and glanced over at Lauren in between.
"I like to help out at the church or my parent's activities to do with the church and charity." Lauren lied, flashing a small smile as she took a sip of her drink and looked over at her mother, who was satisfied with the answer.
She hardly helped out at church or did anything with her parents, she attended church and she thought that was her participation.
"Bradley is in the church choir and a band." His father gloated as he shot his son a small wink, causing him to nod slowly.
"Ye-yeah I play the guitar." He said, before stuffing his mouth with gravy-covered mash as his parents smiled proudly.
"Yes, I've seen you in the choir quite a lot." Lauren giggled sweetly. Well, it wasn't lie, it's just she took no notice of his presence in the choir or band.
Lauren's Mom smiled happily at her, seeing the two teenagers getting on very well. For the rest of the dinner, Lauren and Bradley had hardly spoke because it was mostly the adults chatting to one another. Once Lauren had finished she took her plate to the sink and thanked her mother and father for the meal.
"May I be excused, please, I have homework due in." Lauren asked her parents, hoping they'd say yes so she could get out of this atmosphere and stop having to make up small talk with Bradley.
"Yes, but take Bradley with you." Her mother smirked as she took her last bite and Lauren couldn't protest in front of her guests, so she just nodded in agreement.
Lauren and Bradley entered her room, before climbing the stairs as Brad stared at Lauren's decorative bedroom. His fingers traced over the posters of the rock bands Lauren liked and what he thought about Lauren had altered slightly.
"Get the zip." Lauren ordered as she turned her back to Brad and moved her hair out of the way. The taller boy just stood there, with his wide eyes filled with complete shock. "Just get the fucking zip, idiot."
Bradley nodded as he fumbled with the zip and yanked it down to Lauren's lower back. He wasn't sure if he more shocked at the fact Lauren was taking off her outfit in front of him or that she had just swore. Carelessly, Lauren striped off the uncomfortable dress and was in her bra and underwear in front of Bradley, but she didn't care. Brad gasped loudly as Lauren just rolled her eyes irritatedly and dug through her wardrobe. She put on a plain black shirt and shorts as she turned back to the completely shocked Brad.
She shook her head as she pointed over at her bed, signalling for him to sit down which he did. Lauren danced over to her CD player as she replayed her AC DC track that she has on earlier. Bradley crinkled his nose from the sound of the metal music, that Lauren had lowered for his sensitive ears. She sat down at her desk, facing away from Bradley as she dived into her maths homework.
1 hour had passed of the awkward atmosphere between them both. Bradley tried multiple times to try and strike up a flowing conversation, but Lauren replied with short answers and didn't bother returning the questions. Bradley finally heard his parents calling for him from downstairs as Lauren spun round on her chair.
"It was nice having you for dinner, I'll see you in church." Lauren said politely as she smiled sweetly at Bradley and watched him return the smile shyly, exiting Lauren's bedroom.
Lauren sighed heavily, that was a disaster. Dinner was great, until Brad was alone with her since there was no conversation. She was being a slight bitch though, but it's not her fault if she's not interested... right?
