Hi!

 This is my new book that I've been wanting to write for awhile. It is a short story and therefore will be shorter than my other works. This is also an edited version but for older readers, you're welcome to skip this new edition and carry on reading or you may start again your choice. The re-edited chapters will be longer but the story will remain pretty much the same.

This story is about a girl who buys an album and ends up meeting the band in the same day. I would like to say at the time I wrote the first version I made the character female and she is nameless( aka you, the reader) but I've changed it, and they don't state their gender so that leaves it up to you. Making the story more accepting for anyone reading it x

The character is also not nameless and does go by Jessie, which is a gender neutral name.

I aways liked the idea of holding the albums in my hand rather than buying it online. The feeling of unwrapping the plastic and spending a few seconds just admiring the cover, inside-out, and knowing someone who may or may not have helped you somewhere in your life, spent hours, hell maybe even days or weeks trying to perfect this case of plastic in your hands. And that's just the case. What about the music? 

The gem of it all. The gem that makes you forget the time, you zone back in after 14 songs and you've spent over an hour of your life lost in the beat.

I walked into the record store that day, the cashier looked up at me as the bell above the door rang. She looked back down, continuing with her work.
