If I Stay

Jungkook's POV

"We have good news and bad news." The doctor said.

"Which do you want first." He asked and I stepped towards him.

"Bad." I say. My heart anticipating what his about to say. Please just let Suzy live. Please.

"Which girl are you family of." He asked.

I wanted to say boyfriend but that wasn't true.
"Very, very close friend of Suzy's." I say and he nods.

"Okay well the bad news is, she has broken her left leg, sprained her right wrist, and suffered a bad concussion." When he said the bad news, I had to hear the good news. I was hoping that there was more good news than bad news.

"Okay so the good news?" I ask him.

"The good news is, she will recover quickly and she hasn't suffered any memory lost. She won't be able to do a lot of moving. She will need plenty of rest." That didn't sound like good news to me but I'll take it. Right now she is all that matters.

"What about Ji." V came over asking.

"I'll give bad news first, she has lost a lot of blood and and sprained her ankle. She's suffered a mild concussion." V's eyes started to tear up.

"Shes going to be okay." I say patting his shoulder. He nodded and we went to sit down.

"Boys aren't you supposed to be at school." Ji's mom asked.

"We had to make sure they were okay." V said.

"Now that you know you have to go back to school." Suzy's aunt butted in.

"But.." I was about to speak when she cut me off.

"But nothing, you can't miss school. You can come back when the visiting hours are open." She said.

V and I nod and head out of the hospital back towards my car. On the way back there was silence between the both of us. We didn't know what to say or do. I can only imagine how V feels .

I sigh.

"She will be okay." V said trying to comfort me.

"I know but I feel like I let her down." I mumble.

"Suzy will understand." He said but that's not who I was talking about.

"No not her, Ji!" I respond.

"Ji, why would you let her down?" He asked. Then I thought about that morning at school and want Ji said to me.

"You don't know the hell you put her through. You don't know what she's going through. She got beaten up by your dumb girlfriend and her friend. Then she ran away. Then her mother was rushed to the hospital that made her more depressed .As her Bestfriend I am here to make sure she won't hurt herself and your sure as hell aren't helping!"

"Well one day Jimin and I were in our room talking about Suzy, at the time I was dating Nina so I was a little bit crazy in the head. Anyways I was trying to figure out how to make Suzy jealous and come back to me. Little did I know Ji was standing outside our door listening to everything....... I got up and was about to go to class when i opened the door I saw here standing there. She tried to run but I grabbed her wrist....... She told me that I hurt Suzy, badly. She said that I'm not doing my job........which was to keep and protect Suzy.......*sigh......I failed." I say and look down.

"Wow....... by the way don't grab Ji like that again." V said I nod quickly.

"We have arrived back at hell." I say and we both get out of my car.
